I'm dreaming of this Car since high School and now i'm already 40 but instead of getting a Montero/pajero Car i got the GLS MT Strada 2020.. may another 40 years to make my dream car a reality.
@@migztv3270 double purpose kasi strada Sir. For family service and for business. You can get the same ride comfort naman lalo na pag my additional weights sa likod about 100kg to 120kg.. same engine, power and torque 181 Hp and 430 Nm kahit mid variant lang sa Strada. Sa amin GLS MT 2020 nga alang but loaded with features rin na nasa montero. And also 4 lang kasi kami ng Family ko but if more than that sakay mo lagi mas maganda SUV Boss at kung wla naman lagi karga na mabibigat.🙏😊
@@charlzjones30 ayun! May point sir! Yun din talaga ang maganda sa pick up. Pang business. At 4 lang po pala kayo sir. Sige po sir! Thank you po! Naka pag subscribe na rin ako sir. Hahaha

I actually like the wide center console with its leather padding. It feels nice to rest my leg on, though I understand some might not like it because it is a touch cramped. The power tailgate is actually quite fast compared to others that I've seen like from the Fortuner, Everest, CR-V and aftermarket options. One underrarted feature of the 4WD Montero Sport/Strada is the ability to be in AWD on sealed surfaces. The only other option in its class with this feature is Everest (not even the Ranger, which has a more traditional 4WD setup). This means added grip on wet roads which is quite frequent here in the Philippines. Good review from sir Anton, as always!
Finally, a GT 4WD review! Have to commend you guys again for such a great review, tackled a lot of stuff and only missing some very minor details(you missed that the fog lamp housing also has cornering lamps on it and not only the hazard/repeater lamps as an example). Though as good as how the criticisms were done, I just have some thoughts about the review: - the power tailgate already seems to be the fastest among all power tailgates I've seen in my life, quite a pleasant surprise if you ask me. - I have yet to feel this for myself but as our family owns the 2WD GLS of 2017, one of the things we liked and made us opt for it is the ride. May be too wallowy at times but hey, better than having a headache(if you get what I mean). - maybe it's just me but I do enjoy cornering our GLS 2WD on daang hari, it actually handles pretty well for what it is and hella better than how our Trooper performs. My old Pajero actually isn't too far from how our Montero Sport acts on daang hari's corners. I have yet to see if there really is that much of a difference with this 4WD as I am a bit skeptic if it really doesn't handle as well as the 2WD variants(as someone who drives 4WDs everyday, I am that curious). - fixed 2nd row seats was never our problem because in fact, to have the same 2nd row space in a much more "spacious" competitor, the 3rd row seats of that SUV can't be utilized by then and same if you adjust the 2nd row seats to have the same 3rd row space of what the Mitsubishi has, the 2nd row already suffers a lot in terms of legroom. Tried and tested, even those people and friends I know who owns some of the more spacious competitors are shocked when our Montero Sport fits them more comfortably than theirs, excluding shoulder room in this regard(which they didn't bother that much. Forgive me as well as I won't mention any direct names of vehicles here). - some little stretching of arms to configure the 3rd and 2nd row seats to fold flat and vice versa is better for me than having the 3rd row folded to the side interfering with what should've been a much more roomy cargo area. No hate on that SUV tho, just my honest 2 cents. Looking forward for a 3-way comparo soon, hopefully!
Juan Miguel Mendoza better than having a headache lol! I am looking at the mid variant of that, but with the huge discount, they offer for the 4x4 GT, it's a steal! That also led me to watch this review btw. Thanks for your insights, Juan! I’m near and often drive at daanghari too, and the curves are nice, but not the bumpy elevated part.
Please provide photos or videos when talking about the interior comforts. You’re explaining the controls on the left and right hand corners but it’s not being shown.
The third row seat in the Montero is still better than the fortuner’s simply because it folds flat unlike hooking it to the side which still eats up into the cargo space.
Just a suggestion please next time whenever you are discussing or pointing something out please pan the camera directly to it so we can also see what it is. Peace out and nice review btw!
Have a 2019 gt 4x4. The last batch of gt model before that model came out. Except for cams, auto tailgate and headlights, my gt has the same features. It has sunroof and good 4x4 performance. Got it at cheaper price bcoz the chrome parts were stained by taal volcano ashes when it erupted which up have not been replaced since my dealer have not txted or called me up yet. In fairness, gt performed well in 2 or 4x4 mode. Nice review!
I observe If i turn on the 4H (AWD) on mine the throttle response becomes quicker and i feel more stable im the corners than just leaving on 2H. The sunroof is just the right size if you are going to put a roof basket as the mounts for the roof basket is in a location where the roof basket's front will be right after the sunroof. Lastly when putting up the 3rd row i suggest putting the backs up on both seats and let the rearmost passengers put down the base as they go in. Still cumbersome but better than going back and forth.
@@christianditangan9024 Everest and Montero most likely same increase in weight compared sa 4x2 variants nila because permanent 4wd (may center diff). Terra, Fortuner, MU-X, Trailblazer slightly lighter (maybe 80kgs if 95kgs sa Everest and Montero) because wala silang center diff.
I was waiting for the review about its 360 cam, lane departure warning (if it has) and remote start & car finder (from your smartphone). Noticed that the rear view mirror has some sort of wirings already. I'm wondering if the 360 cam is integrated with the head unit or just on the rearview mirror just like the ones in the aftermarket
I live in New York and I watch your channel , one constructive criticism, when you talk about door handles , buttons, plastic top and so on , please show what are you talking about , edit video so we can get and appreciate also the view of what are you commenting about 😥😢😨😰😱

Maganda sana yung pagExplain about sa details kaso kulang sa ibang clips at ibang angle ng camera di mo makita kung ano yung tinutukoy nya. Sayang ganda pa naman ng explanations
It's so stupid to always say it looks like this model or this variant or this other SUV. I am looking to buy my first Montero Sport and I don't care about all those others.
Are you showcasing the SUV or focusing you trying to sell the SUV. The third seat is design for children and adult Asians . As to the stiff steering wheel, it's not meant to be driven by millennials who are not a real man who are skinny and lack strength. When pointing out features, stay focus and zoom on those items without you in it. You did not road test it's 4x4 capabilities. I give your vlog 2out5
Myron po nung naunang mga batch ng 3rd generation, nakabili kami isa nung may 2017,at that time 1.7m ang price. Nawala na ngayon dahil sa low on sales, kasi karamihan when they need 4WD,GT binibili nila na variant.
without checking the greatest engineering of toyota the TNGA and a powerful 2.5 dynamic force n/a gas low cost to maintain reliable toyota engine.. na papakainin ng alikabok ang mga naka montero ng rav4😂🤭
You may want to have someone else taller or bigger 5'8 to 5'10 and 160-185lbs as these are driven by real man. If the owner is a middle class, he is most Filipino likely too short and needs a driver whose a underpaid jack of all trade.
