2020 Nike Air Max 90 Infrared (Air Max 3 Radiant Red) Review

These shoes bring me so many memories. A timeless piece of art in the shoe world. One of the very best ever!

I've also been waiting for this release. Love these, remember wearing these my 1st day of school sophmore year in High School which was in 2007. Dope video!

I grabbed 2 pairs. This was the shoe that started my sneaker head ways. One to have in rotation and another in storage. There are reports they added an additional air unit so it’s a more comfortable ride compared to the 2015 release and some of the other retros. There are a lot of great touches on this release. The box, the arch supports you got in the original box add a great story

I think i saw in the Weartesters review about this shoe, that Nike indeed made a major change to the shoe, and that's that they added forefoot air, unlike past models and colorways that only featured that visible Air Unit in the Heel. Whether it's true or not, idk, but i'll get myself a pair, hopefully. Great video Seth!! :))

I'm glad that in the last couple of years nike started to put the stitching over the swoosh on the lateral side again more and more. It really gives the shoe an og shape instead of the smooth and sleek look we've been seeing in the past

Best Air Max silhouette imo. Super comfortabe too. Great for everyday wear.

The best thing about these this year is the original tooling; Nike brought back the encapsulated forefoot air in all the Air Max 3’s which was missing from any of the recent 90’s models. Way comfier and definitely makes a difference!

Haven't bought that many pairs this year, but I'm glad I was able to get this at champs today. This looks more red on camera than it does in person. Just got done lacing them up and sprayed water and stain repellent. I'm good to go!

These were the first Nike sneakers I ever bought myself back in 2015 when the last release happened.. I still have them fresh & clean to this day; I barely wear them. Definitely a special pair and my favorite of my collection.

Still rocking my 2005 HOA infrared 90s, copped about 3 pairs back when they would go on 50% off at footlocker. love the shoe!

Definitely had to cop. My all time favorite pair of Nike's. And as much I have babied them, my 2015 pair is starting to look a little rough 😂. I love that I could still walk into a store on release day after I was done with work, and still cop such an iconic shoe.

Welcome back to another weekly update. Valhalla is in full swing so far and I just wrapped up recording a couple guides for when the full embargo goes down, one looking at most the abilities you can unlock and another reviewing the full skill tree. Current plan is 3 episodes per day through Thursday then a single hour long episode every morning as we shift our focus over to Demon Souls in entirety. I don't expect Sony will be sending out a review PS5 for Demons Souls so I'm likely waiting till my preorder shows up Thursday to get started but rest assured as soon as it shows up I'll be starting on the series for it. On the flip side this means I have till my PS5 arrives to beat Valhalla which shouldn't be that bad with my current non-existent sleep schedule. As for streams this week, expect Valhalla a bunch on Mon/Tues/Wed. Thursday will be spent recording Demons Souls and if I get enough of the LP done, Friday will mark the beginning of the walkthrough prep streams. As for a review of Valhalla I don't think I'll have enough time to make content for it and do a review so I'll be skipping a review for the time being, but I will say I'm enjoying it more than Odyssey (though I am a whore for Vikings so I'm biased). As for Miles Morales, unfortunately he's taking a back seat for a while. Demons Souls has priority, sorry Miles.

The bottom of the insole is from the air max 1, and introduced on the air max 1 anniversaries

Not sure if you noticed but the pressed traction pattern on the insole is the outsole pattern of the air max 1. I read that tinker Hatfield did it as a homage to the risk he took with the air max 1.

I do not miss cleaning the mudguard or the mesh on the toe. Use to do repainted on those as well, I wonder if these still suffer from paint chipping.

"nothing much different..." Bro that couldn't be further from the truth. It's using the OG color, which is NOT "infared" like it morphed into over the years, and the OG cut.
