I intended to watch this movie with my 2yo cousin and she left in the first five minutes... shame on her... I got to watch this masterpiece alone

This is really random, but I have this fan theory that Miracle Guy is Max from the first movie who manifested all of his dreams into reality and turned himself into this universe's Superman, making himself a symbol of hope but also becoming an egotistical, Homelander-type leader.

I kinda hate the fact that Sharkboy and Lavagirl are in this world when they are literally just a part of Max’s imagination.

“Why doesn’t Sharkboy speak?” Don’t you know? Sharkboy lost his voice box while fighting his nemesis Boyshark (the shark that was part boy). Don’t you keep up with Sharkboy & Lavagirl lore? Smh

Watched for Sharkboy and lavagirl, stayed for Sharkboy, lavagirl, bad acting, and cringe writing.

How i see this movie: Robert rodriguez has just as much of an imagination as his Kids.

When Missy called her grandma Abuelita, I was so primed by other Robert Rodriguez films that I just assumed her family was related to the Spy Kids franchise.

I was disappointed that Sharkboy & Lavagirl didn’t have enough screentime

So what I’m getting is that this is one of Robert’s movies that isn’t a cringe-filled hard-to-watch mess like Shark Boy and Lava Girl, but isn’t anywhere near as good as the Spy Kid trilogy’s movies, so it’s this weird middle ground that’s not quite a horrible failure but not really a great success either so it’s mostly just a disappointment because it had potential to be great, but failed.

I’m convinced that shark boy cheated on lava girl and that’s how guppy was able to freeze the key and is also why the heroics lady asks if they’re still married 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just a theory: miracle boy is the older max thus explaining how he knows shark boy sang🤔

Ojo is the best character. She starts out with an awesome power of drawing the future, and she doesn’t talk, but still helps the team out. Then she makes a very interesting twist at the end by talking and revealing that she was an alien spy. Her character is really interesting to watch with the development. I also like Rewind, Fast-forward, and Guppy. I like all of them. This movie is really good. I didn’t think I would like it but it is really good especially for a kids movie. My 2 year old brother didn’t like it that much like I thought he would so I watched most of it alone. Reaction RU-vidrs seem to really not like it but it is so entertaining.

I thought I was too old or something when everyone online seemed hyped for this movie. Then I watch this reaction and now I feel like I'm just missing something 😢

Sharkboy and Lavagirl’s inclusion in this movie is like the cinematic equivalent of clickbait

Fun Fact: Lautner was interested in doing this one, but a scheduling conflict got in the way. The reason Sharkboy doesn't speak is because they want to do another one and have Lautner return to the role and have a speaking role then

I watched this movie on New Years Eve and I really did enjoyed the flick. I noticed that the CGI has improved a lot since the original CGI in _Sharkboy and Lavagirl_ looks very odd and cheesy that added to the charm.

The drawing part killed me. Stating the best artists then they showed her art 💀😪

I coincidentally saw this the night you uploaded this. I had never seen Sharkboy and Lavagirl, but I knew what it was. Also, I got SpyKids vibes from it right away and checked if it had the same director. I predicted everything just like you, except that the Monet Girl was "evil" and that Toaster and Every Face were pranking everyone. (That last one was genius. I didn't see that coming, and I feel like I should have.) Did you notice how the Shark Frenzy was a reference to when Captain America said, "And Hulk ... smash!" I was like, "ye, she gon pull a 'Hulk smash'-line," and then like, "I understood that reference." But I hated all the obviousness of the film. Too much convenient happened. I kinda felt I had wasted my time, but it was worth it after seeing this video, cause I had a real good laugh with this. 😂😂
