Skipper: Dana Reid Deckhands: Kolbe Costello & Jack Davis Skiffman: Eddie Lee The Lynx boys haul a early set towards the end of August. The weather was rough and we're thankful we pulled it off safe and sound.
Dana is such a nice guy(b float life!), but after taking a season in SE, and 3 years in PWS(and lower 48 salmon and squid seining), Kodiak always seems like a goat rope. And that's having fished on everything from a 38'(moondance) to a 58'(Natalia), and a bunch in between. And that's no disrespect to Dana nor anybody else because Dana kicks a lot of ass and gets it done. It just seems like watching 58's like the perseverance and the cape reliant hauling 10-12k bags in 9 mins consistently, with a bigger net, always makes me feel pretty humble about how cool we thought we were on the Beverlee J hauling a kodiak net in 18, Lol!!! Anyhow, great video, and thanks for the memories of a place I still miss and would love to fish again. PS- can Dana still be bribed with doughnuts? Have a great summer!!!
