Tech tip: 1. Leave wheel on and Jack up the truck. (Can loosen sway bar if you want, not necessary all the time) 2. Remove two strut bolts.(weight of wheel will drop control arm enough to get spacer in) 3. Install new hardware and take to alignment.
Nice video I knew this was the video o was looking for I kept seeing other videos they were removing the upper control arm the brake line outer tie rod the engine it was ridiculous from past experience I was like they don’t know what they are doing lol maybe but doing too much Love how you showed simplicity and just like the other guy said you didn’t have to remove the sway bar link but hey at least I can say this is the best video for this type of lift nice truck bro ima sub up
I have a 2019 gmc x31offroad.. It looks simple.. Just looked at mine the only difference is I have a CV shaft which should move up and down with no problem. Then I'll get the alignment and my bigger tires. Thanks for you video.
just measure it from the ground to bottom of fender well more stable and get yourself an impact torque wrench 18 or 20 volt works great for taking off things. The parts are usaully made out of T6 Aluminum.
Bro it had to be the hardest for thing for me to install, I removed a lot of components to make it fit, I got 25k miles on my 2020 Silverado and it just was a big pain in the ass. Those spacers did not want to go in and basically had to force them in, with loosening the strut and taking the upper control arm loose..
