I think the super skin is stupid, ppl are so easily fooled by the big companies, they say it’s "lighter" ? How weak are you that you need to lighten a glove , what these crooks at Wilson and Rawlings are doing is cheapening the product by offering less leather !!! And fools are falling for it , the replace expensive leather with some cheap rubber that they claim is some state of the art product that makes the glove "better" . Ppl don’t get cheated by these companies, it’s bad enough the gloves are so expensive, don’t let them jerk you so they can save money on your dime
For thy big leagues I'd understand maybe you want something to maneuver the glove better but for slowpitch other than ss 3rd especially baseball converting players going to slowpitch quality leather is the way to go if you want something to last 10+ years.
I just bought a 14" Wilson A360 for $50. I use it as a backup to my much more expensive game day glove. It's very light and the leather is not as high quality as you see on more expensive models BUT it's actually well built and the very first time I used it I was shocked at how it gobbled up a 12" softball. The construction is similar to the A2000 just not the same quality materials. Great pocket and web. It requires very little if any break in. If you are just getting into softball or you don't want to spend a lot of money on a glove the A360 is a really good option.
I've had the miken 13in player series 13in first basement for 13 years and it's just now about to blow up on me the laces are snapping I got one left in the web. Best glove I've ever owned
It looks like some had the finger shift option. Which is something I look for now. But it wasn't called out in the video. But I think I can visually see for myself. Thanks.

That’s my position too but I play rec and double plays are not too common. Been using a 13” Rawlings that was purchased for middle school church ball about thirty years ago. It’s about as stiff as an empty pillow case and I’m looking for a replacement. What is everyone’s opinion? Does size really make a big difference at the rec level between infield and outfield ? I will only have one glove.
Which is the lightest? I'm mainly a center fielder and use an Old 13.5 inch Worth which has rarely let me down, but is pretty beat up. Lately I've been playing both infield/outfield so I'm looking for speedy utility upgrade.

would appreciate insight as to how these gloves perform - i.e. usage in game, how they perform as utility gloves for both IF/OF or at certain positions, etc
I’ve played with 12” and 11.5” for years. I’d say I rather stay close to 12” but never felt I needed a 13”+ glove. For reference I played OF, 3rd and 1st with my 12”
Thanks for this video. Very well done. I ordered the Miken Pro Series Gold. I like the deep pocket and that it is somewhat broken in from the get go. I looked at the A2000. Nice glove but it should be priced with the Miken. Paying more for its popularity.
