I'll be okay with this change so long as they keep that spooky Evil Queen that turns around to reveal the witch...or even if they make it better. That's the best, spookiest part.

My family and me went onto this ride without reading the sign. My mom and my aunt thought it was a nice happy adventure, but they were *wrong.* I was 4 or 5 at the time I think, and I was literally shaking with my head down the whole time.

When I was young, the cartoon used to scare me, especially when Snow White escaped through the dark forest and all the trees were alive trying to catch her and stuffs. Also when the Evil Queen turned into a hag.

I wish I could’ve gone on this ride before they make it more happy and friendly I like how it’s creepy and scary

The film has genuinely scary moments so I like that the original ride taps into that.

In Disneyland New Orleans Square, I really want them to add a Princess and the frog themed ride, but I don't want them to remove any classical rides, just add one more Southern themed

Personally, I feel like original 1955 rides should be left alone and unchanged to persevere their historical value and touch by Walt Disney himself.

Truth is kids like to be a lil scared with dark rides like this, they're more curious about it and more entertained when they experience it. If everything is just happy dappy no threat or danger involved like Small World it can get rather boring fast. I'm not surprised tho since they were too afraid of making Ursala a giant which would have been amazing to see but nope they didn't want to scare the kids. Do instead we get a dark little shadow of Ursala far away getting stabbed by the boat or something. :(

The evil Queen's disguise scared me when I was young.

I remember getting on this in sixth grade, and my mom who had a stroke couldn’t get on any of the thrill rides. She apologized for being able to ride “only the kiddie rides,” but this and the Pinocchio one were actually pretty intense! As of now, this is on my must ride list for the next time I go back- because those weren’t any kiddie rides.

This is my favourite version of the ride. The original version was a sadistic horror fest, the new one is too tame. This one has all the fun scary stuff but I like how there's some lighter stuff at the beginning to balance out the darker elements and create more build-up.

I can see why they're making new updates to it finally. This ride has gone through so many changes over the years. The one that was in Fl, was less scary than this. This has a lot of frightening scenes with the witch popping out at every corner. When I was little, my parents told me I was very scared of the witch and wouldn't come back up off the floor. When I finally did, she would appear again and back to the floor I went. Hopefully they turn it to the ending where snow white and the prince live happily ever after.

I love the dark rides! They are just so cute. Plus even though there old, they are very immersive. If you think about it these rides are all made out of very cheap material like cutout wood boards and painting them. They buildings in these rides like the outside of the cottage, its not a real building at all. Its just painted wood boards and scenes like the mine is not real diamonds its just painted on the walls. What this ride is made up of is not much. Its all super cheap materials. But all the blacklights, strobe lights, and very dim lights is what lights up the magic in these rides. Its amazing because it shows that no matter how cheap you are. You may not have the expensive tech to do super crazy stuff that not a lot of people have, but you can make amazing stuff out of the things you do have. It really is amazing.

At least this exists so when the new family friendly version is up, I can remember when I was horrified as a child!

Parents thought this was scary? What about the damn Pinocchio dark ride?! That to me is the stuff of nightmares!

It was just revealed that they have changed the name to Snow White's Enchanted Wish. I just had to come back and see the ride again as it was when I was younger.

I remember riding this in likely 1984. It scared me, surely, but I absolutely loved it too. It’s a shame it doesn’t exist this way, today.

During the 60’s when my dad was a teenager, it was customary to try & steal the apple from the witch(it was solid then).

This ride was scary as hell when you were a kid. I think the car kind of jerked itself towards the witch at times.

Maybe with the enhancements they can actually give the ride more story and have it actually make sense. :D

I went on the Disney World version a long time ago and barely remember it. I’m really glad they changed it to Seven Dwarfs Mine train.

I love the fact that, unlike the other existing Snow White rides, this version of Snow White’s scary adventures doesn’t have any dialogue from the other scenes noticeable from the scene you’re at

I was eleven when I first rode this ride, and despite knowing what I was getting into it still creeped the bejeesus outta me.

This has to be the most fastest ride to end, it ended in about 1 minute 😭

I wish they maintained the original ride because it’s historical but I guess some updates that help expand the story and shorten unnecessarily long sequences are fine. The ending is pretty abrupt, too. Especially with those exit doors being slightly open just takes away from the theme. And Snow White in her glass coffin not being there is just strange! It’s a missed opportunity.

Went on this with my best friend when we were 16 and I hadn’t been on since I was a little kid, we were genuinely so scared a few times 😅

My mom brought me on this ride as a joke and I have never been more terrified in my life

The first time i got on this ride i was 8-9 years old and i thought it was going to be a nice peaceful experience with my grandma beside me since she and i used to watch the Disney classics together (and the villains all terrified me). We get on this ride and it's the first of the many attractions i would visit: i am so happy, me and my grandma are making references of the movie while we get in the different stages... but when we get in the castle and the queen turns into the witch i got through the whole castle and forest with my hands in front of my eyes; i promised to never get on that ride again because it was terrifying! Last time i returned to Disneyland, two years ago, i obviously returned to this ride and it wasn't scary at all anymore for me but i still remember what i felt the first time: i managed to get ptsd from a damn Disneyland ride!!! 💀💀💀

3:24-3:37 will always live in my head. I was 5 and I was sitting on the right. Right when the witch's door opened, I realized and was scared a lot. That memory will never leave my brain. That was like in the summer of 2011.

Hope they slow down the ride when the refurb is done to appreciate all the refurb changes and enjoy the ride more. Hope they update Pinocchio in the future too.

It's so weird coming back to this version. I do feel Enchanted Wish was a great and needed update that was respectful of this version but just made it better. Very surreal remembering this version had this ending...

I still prefer Snow White's Scary Adventures, as Snow White's Enchanted Wish became a snoozefest and typical. I won't ride Enchanted Wish as much compare to the once Scary Adventures. The ride was never a retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves but instead emphasizes the horror from the film. "It should not be forgotten that as a dark ride, Snow White's Adventures has never needed to concentrate on telling the 1937 movie's full story. From 1955 to 1992, all these rides (with the exception of the 1994 WDW version), have concentrated on presenting an impression on the movie's essence, instead of telling the complete story. The California 1983 version continued to be Snow White's personal nightmare, a hallucinatory voyage through iconic scenes. As the focal point of the ride remained on the scary essence, there really was no need for a proper ending. Unfortunately only a few guests understood this."

I like the new one because it tells the whole story from beginning to end.

I had a dream last night I was at Snow white’s scary adventure ride it was interesting.

I love this ride soo much! But every time I get off it I always thinking to myself, "what the hell with the ending?". I think they just need to polish it up and it will be pretty good.
