@6:50, you bring up the color. Jeff, I absolutely agree that the SRX should return in Blue. 1998-2002, Yamaha Blue was the only choice. I've convinced my boss/owner of the Powersports Dealership that I work for to Powersurge bring in 3. Had they been in Blue, I would of talked him into 6, 2 for myself.
Wow, finally getting to the question about the new front end handling on the SRX/Cat and.... let me interrupt Dan to talk about all that wind in my chest, so we get no info.
You guys talk about shock packages... why don't you explain to the masses exactly what they do? One guy says you can get lost in the adjustments and I agree.... most ppl have no clue what those adjustments do.
In mn spring checking doesn’t work. Because there is no guarantee of snow from season to season. I spring checked back in 2011 and the 2011-2012 season didn’t happen.. granted, cat was good about it and mailed me a letter and extended my warranty for another year.. I learned my lesson big time about spring check. Very painful to have a 15k sled in the shed and no snow... It’s a gamble I refuse to take
Bad thing is theres so many nice sleds. The people buying sleds cant ride or try out all of them to find out what they like. These sleds cost so much today they took the fun out of the sport and most places dont get the snow like they use to. Who wants to spend 15000 on a sled and ride it 4 times a year. I think they need to lower the prices to draw more people in to the sport.
Top end sleds have always been expensive, but you can still go buy a 600cc bare bones sled today for 10k and it will be way better than what was around just 10 years ago. The price just seems crazy because they are going crazy now extreme with engineering on the top end stuff now, but you certainly aren't forced to buy a 15+ thousand dollar sled.
All the sleds u mentioned are all 70/30 sleds! They are not 50/50 sleds like people say. The Assault is horrible in trail bumps, The X the shitty shocks show they're weaknesses early on, the XRS is way to go always on trail
I don't get it I was up north snowmobiling and I watched this already where's episode 11 and 12 shows a new episode but I watched it already are you pissing he's a part in segments like the other shows I watch on RU-vid?
Its sad we need to go to other provinces. To go long tracking. Look at the Trees.. more then my back yard. People need to get in to not snowmobile. The snow is history. Jeffrey u think. Things have changed. Artic.cat. is a susuki motor. Works ok.
Polaris dropped the Ball on the Indy 137 not offering it in a XCR, Us short track guys that dont want another short track, and we had to buy aftermarket shocks to make the sled handle the bumps, we want a 137 with good shocks, not some shitty floor model shocks on a snowcheck. Polaris is doing what Ski doo did yrs ago, they start taking away stuff and making consumers buy it as a add on when it should be on the sled, made me switch brands to Polaris, well now I'm almost ready to try another brand. The 40th Anniversary sled, its missing Idd gauge and Elc start, that sled should definitely have the Velocity shocks. And it doesn't. Stupid! I can buy a XRS 137 Or 129, looks like I'm trying a XRS again and dropping Polaris, Sorry Polaris, the 137 Doo is the most popular trail sled and u guys dropped the ball on that dumb 128/129 sled
I don't see how they dropped the ball on the 129,I had a 121 indy and loved it on trails and not terrible off trail either.ski-doo is awsome but I don't care for the looks of the doo.
I really don't think they dropped the ball on the 129 polaris.I own a 19 and so far it's been great...just simply better than my 121 indy.Ski doo is a great sled no doubt it but polaris is good. These guys that bash any sled brand need to just relax,if you have problems then go to another brand and stop with the bashing...
cano anyone please explain to me, with facts why cannucks pronounce about and out so oddly. there aint a snowmobile channel worth a damn that isnt canuckistanian and I cant take the abouts anymore
