Depending on wind (West Texas) my 2020 on 37 nitto ridge grapplers is 16-17mpg in wind 18-20mpg calm and rolling plains type roads. I'm absolutely in love with my truck. If you getting 15-16mpg and your truck is new check your front hub locks as most ship locked. I didn't realize this till 5k miles roughly a week ago. Some dealers unlock them on receiving some don't. I had my speedometer set to accommodate the 37s with forscan because I was about 6 miles off. 2020 F250 XLT premium chrome package Katskinz leather seats running 2.5 ready lift leveling kit with 37x12.50r18LT Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Yes they rub if I turn sharp. Bought used with 3,100 miles. Thanks for your videos it has been a help to know what I'd like to see on mine. Might try the S&B intake. So if there are naysayers that these trucks won't get 20 even with 37s well maybe head to the dealership and grab you one!
So I flipped to youtube from Tom Brady to check out your vid....going back now. Hope things get better for him. Good vid...thay sounds like my regen pattern too.
Picked up my 2020 f350 the other day. Went about 180 mile trip up highway over a pass, snow/ice near the top. Spent some time in 4wd hi and some idling, also few times up near 100mph passing (not sure why people want to floor it once they hit passing lane). According to the truck, 20.5mpg. These things get great mpg!
If they don’t believe ya they’re new here. 500% honest, and we value your reviews. Completely right about mpg don’t matter - work is work. Lol I can tell when mine regen. That sucking sound was diesel brother and again it do t matter but mine may fall off since it ain’t commercial
My truck gets around 17.0 MPG on a 2 lane road traveling around 50 MPH. On the flat interstate with no stop and go it will get around 20.2 MPG traveling 75 MPH. This is a 2020 F-350 Platinum SRW CCLB 6.7 FX4 stock Michelin tires. I carry about 200 to 300 pounds of tools in the back covered by an ARE camper top at all times.
I have the same leveling set up and am running Toyo Open Country- 37s, I’ve been averaging 19-20 mpg using GPS speed/ distance. I still haven’t got Forscan codes to update tire size and speedometer.
Really good mileage. I drove up the Coachella highway in BC which is straight up through the mountains with speed limit of 120 KM/H. I went 120 km/hr cruise in my F150 EcoBoost with 2.5” level and 33’s and I managed 11.4L/100KM. Side note:wish our highways were like that around here, dead and empty lol. I live 20 mins from Vancouver and sometimes the drive will be 2 hours or more.
@@jimh6233 I know it hasn’t heard about the Geneva convention rules against cruel and unusual punishment ?!? I’m still sore about the war of 1812 haha 😂
Great video. Noticed your CEL is now out. Maybe I missed something. I try to view all your videos. Did you get the glitch fix/update through FORSCAN? Still have high degree of error as far as speedo goes so curious. Also what app are you using for calcs? TIA!
You can reprogram it easy. But going from stock to 37’s his speed will show anywhere from 3-12mph under what he actually is going. Give or take a few up or down depending on speed
For comparison... 2020 F250 7.3 Flowmaster force II axle back exhaust 5 Star Performance Tune on 87 Performance Stock everything else 3.55 rear end I average about 14.7 mpg highway and 12mpg mixed city/highway.
Question about the ready lift 2.5" kit on a 2020.. Is it perfectly level or slightly nose high? I've got a 2020 F-250 and have the kit on order, but am hearing that it might sit a little nose high?
Nice. My 2015 tells me when it regents but it is quickly displayed then back to regular screen. Are you planning on getting a Banks Derringer for the 2020 F350 and keeping the one in the 550?
@@workplaytv I had the dealer turn on my diesel exhaust particulate filter screen, wasn’t sure if you did or not? You can watch and see when it’s 100% full, it shows when my truck is doing regens and the filter full percentage dropping. Sometimes it regens even when it’s not at 100% full. My truck didn’t come with the operator commanded regen feature but when they turned on the % screen I also got the option to turn off auto regens.
@workplaytv great video. How has the leveling kit been for ride quality as a everyday work truck. Are you expecting more wear on upper / lower arms? I want to level my work truck however heard as a everyday driver it beats the arms up...? Thanks.
Curious how your hand calculated compared to the computer...I have a 2020 F350 6.7lccsb with 3,55 gears...I find computer is always around 1.0-1.5mpg higher then hand calculated...this is a 100% stock truck. By the way how does ride quality compare with your new lift vs stock?
Since you have 37 on the truck are you going to Re gear the truck. If so what gear would you go to and how did you come up with that number of gearing?
we have a 18 6.7 plati on 37s leveled 100% stock and the computer says it averages 11-12.5 with the 6 speed but thats while driving like a hoonigan always haahah
You guys shouldn't be talking about mpg seriously. Anti-aero big burly truckers talking about mpg reminds of me big muscle guys concerned about their small pp. its a fucking truck! a bigass one too. its a beast! if you even get 25mpg average your mpg is still shit! because if you start towing and carrying heavy shit (which I'm assuming you are doing with the truck when its moving) its getting 10mpg!
dude, you guys need to understand the canadian MPG is not the same as the american MPG. I can't believe these kind of unit arguments are still happening. Canadians use either L/100km or sometimes referred to as UK MPG (united kingdom mpg). UK MPG is different than US MPG. The USA gallon is 4.54 litres, the UK gallon is 3.78 litres. If he is getting 18 - 20 UK MPG, that means he is getting 15-16 USA MPG.
