That's a beautiful and sharp looking T880 day cab. Spec'd very nicely and I like how Kenworth continues to tweak and refine things especially with the 2.1meter cab. Thanks for sharing as always and be careful out there. Still very slick up there I can see.
1. they selected a proper 18 speed manual 2. i noticed seperate air suspension dump switchs for the trailer and the tractor. the truck that i drive has an air suspension dump switch and an air suspension "over-inflate" switch that will raise the trailer up slightly for ease of raising the landing gear.
Indeed, this is one FINE looking truck! I'm looking to purchase one of similarity but, with a longer wheel base and a few other amenities. Also, you did an AMAZING job with this presentation Sir!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👌🏾👍🏾❤💯
Hey Andy the kenworth guy..: I’m wondering why not offer the option to have driver side exhaust be connected despite the back pressure ? Other question is does kenworth also offer soft clutch hydraulic system for W900 like all others kw models have ?
All I have is a 1990 Autocar Dump that I use around my campground for dredging the marina and inlet but have been interesred in trucks since a young age so I really enjoy your videos. My question on this unit is that one stack is hooked to the engine what is the other stack hooked to?
stoped at a Kenworth dealer in WI last summer for some pricing..... still waiting a year later. And NO I wont be going with Kenworth. No we dont want all thaT DEF CRAP
Quick question here regarding the interiors Ive seen on the w990 the interior is made of plastic crap is that what you guys are going to... i hope not cause frieghtliner had done that way back and now trying to push in the brake vavles is hard cause the plastic is all broke up from hot and cold
Ok yeah the pieces that you push in didnt break it was the dash it self was so broke up :( well guess we need to start rebuilding our interiore in the old petes and Kw's
Trucker186 yea everything is going to plastic. But honestly don’t be too concerned, because plastic technology is getting a lot better and they hold up much better. Although the past decade of plastics has been pretty piss poor in the Heavy duty truck industry, we’ve got an ‘06 international that we use on the farm and from bouncing through hay fields and just simple use anything plastic in the truck is falling apart. Cracks whole glove box face has fallen off, rattles... etc... but hey lucky for us and the truck it doesn’t get used near as much as most. (Probably sees less than 10k miles a year since we usually just locally move equipment and hay with it)
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy the 510hp rating..... i dont know how they come up with that. my truck has the "500" hp paccar, honestly i have driven old C15 ACERT trucks that had allot more power. the paccar MX13 lacks torque, its a gutless wonder. how come paccar never came out with an MX15?
Pretty trucks but the automatics are junk , they have to be the worst automatic transmission ever made ,my company has 3 of them ! They shift sooo slow that it’s not safe trying to pull out on a busy road , if you could shove a rookie driver in the transmission, he would shift faster lmao
thats all my boss has been buying lately and we are hauling milk tankers......we weight 102+ gross if fully loaded. he buys 18 ultra-shift-plus garbage. i have the 2nd last manual shift he bought, a 2017 KW T880 18 manual day cab, it has 83K on it. i plan on keeping it until my boss retires and sells the company. im pretty firm on not wanting to drive that automated trash.
