4th day of ownership, and we are bringing the TA90 to TMP once more for its Time Attack debut! Despite a huge tire disadvantage, I was determined to give it my all against some VERY well prepped track machines... And BOY was the A90 a delight and a total surprise.

i like that you kept the car stock first, pushing it to the limits. progressively fine tuning it instead of just throwing mods on it before figuring out the characteristics of the car.

I can estimate about .5 to 1 second faster with brake pads. I think this pad isn’t even a real “mod”, more like a necessity for tracking these Supra’s, the stock pad just can’t take the punishment

@Kamar G he did run it on stock brake pads in the shakedown and the head to head against the M2 Competition, then found that the brake pads overheated

RU-vidrs trying to make 500+ whp to drive illegally on the street, record videos of the exhaust, and go fast in a straight line. You are taking a sports car straight from the dealership and keeping up with tracked-prepped vehicles. Props. I'm impressed with the supra so far.

Garrett Hence , its goes thru phases. First its opposed, criticized and hated. Then once it gets into the right hands such as this kid, and shown what it can do, then it changes minds. Theres already a-lot more guys tuning it strictly for straight line, and thats fine. I’d like to see how much they can push it. But my cup of tea, is exactly this. What can it do at the track? THAT to me, is where it can show how much of an improvement it has compared to the last gen. Plus its more fun imo.

Great job Jackie. Love your video's it's so great that you're showing people what this car is capable of doing. When everyone else is obsessed with quarter mile times and 0-60 times your doing what the car was meant to do. Good luck with the rest of the season and keep up the fantastic work.

Man you drove the hell out of that car. Those cars had aero, better tires, and powertrain mods to boot while also being lighter weight, and you STILL kept up with them til the tires ran out. If you were running Trofeo Rs you would definitely would have podium if not flat out won the whole round.

Izz Din hello fella, no UK orders and cars are only starting to arrive now, US seem to have got much quicker. I think the first UK car was delivered yesterday, everyone else will have there’s between now and two months time ..... can’t wait! Will go nice along side my 1000bhp+ MKIV manual Supra 😍👍

I was there that day. I personally believe it was the tires. Once the track cooled you did better. Even the drifters were holding better slides.

Would you consider releasing your data overlays with the track footage? Personally I find it very helpful to get a better understanding of a track with suplimental data. I've been studying alot of your Gingerman footage this past Summer and was able to put down a 1:49.195 on street tires in my M2(17/6sp/non competition - video with data in my channel).

Just curious but for 50 grand why not buy a used c6 zr1? Not knocking the supra that's an incredible platform and kudos on driving the wheels off it! But you could have 550whp stock with wider tires for the same money

Better tires you would of put you in second I feel even at the stock specs. But I will say, you spent 50k for a car that’s suppose to perform very very well. The rx7 I wouldn’t consider a track monster due to lack of aero applied. It’s on par with your Supra, but due to weight difference, the 7 had more chances to run harder with more tire life. Awesome driving though. You’ll dominate in this Supra with only a few mods applied guaranteed.

Them making you keep on the PSS is a crime. Plus those pads are too aggressive for them. Trofeo R compared to PSS is a whole different level of grip. Great driving as always.

They didn’t make me, but since I just got the car I had Zero time to prepare and certainly wasn’t gonna order tires for it. Plus, I won’t be able to use these Trofeo’s at Gridlife so spending the money for 1 event seems like a waste.
