Thanks for the beautiful hunting trip😀sorry you got plastered in football...and the lack of elk...but the trip was fun and the words of wisdom...priceless🤗and the humble pie was great...lol...may God bless you
A great Hunt doesn’t always end with success. I’ve had days I remember for being great and days or even seasons that were not to good also. Always a blessing to spend time in God country. Almost see his fingers carving the valleys and giving us all the beast of the land to enjoy, help and feed our families. Thanks for sharing your adventures and family with us all. 💪🏽🎥💯👍🙏🏻
Very nice video thanks for sharing. That is some nice country out there. GOD is good all the time. I am thankful every day I get out of bed. And being able to see his art work every day.
Thanks so much my friend, that was really kind of you. I’m glad y’all had a safe trip out even though the hunting was slow! Keep your ministry strong and I know you are reaching lots of viewers 😊🙏👍👍
That is beautiful country John, rugged and vast. It’s just a blessing to be able to roam such beautiful land and spend time out there with family. I also love that you put seeing your daughter’s volleyball game above your hunt as nothing is more important than family. I’ve been hunting all my life and have eaten tag soup more often than I have been successful in putting an animal in the freezer. I was talking with a friend the other day about an old boss of mine, a non-hunter who couldn’t understand how I could spend an entire week’s vacation in a tree-stand every day from dawn to dusk, not kill anything and still say I had a great hunt. But those of us who make the effort to spend time in God’s creation get it. The reward is not always meat in the freezer. Great MOTM, amen. Have a blessed weekend my friend.
Love the thankful attitude. I can't imagine your step count. God bless you brother. The area you got to see was breathtaking. The wonderful work of God.
Man that was some beautiful country! This is my favorite time of year for several reasons and the color change is definitely one of them! Thank you taking us along!
I am surprised by just how pretty Utah is. Enjoying some of your older hunting vids at lunch, and always love the MOTM! Keep up the good work, Brother!
Nice video John. Cool arrowhead. Great find. Tough luck on the hunting. Glad you still got out, though. I didn't draw anything this year of any species. I suppose they call it hunting instead of harvesting for a reason. There is always fishing! 😁👍
No deer this morning. Zach has a birthday party (only a few people due to the virus) to attend later. Hopefully get one down next weekend. I just put up a video from this morning.
I enjoyed following along. Sure doesn’t take a kill to make a hunt and you proved that! Glad you didn’t hurt yourself with the fall. Cool find on the arrowhead and deer rub 👍
What an opener! Man that’s a sweet point! If that puppy had its point it would have been killer! Still as it is, it’s awesome! Beautiful views there! Sorry you didn’t score, but we know it’s all about connecting with your inner peace! Thanks for sharing brother, I enjoyed watching!
Elk is one of my bucket list animal harvest. Season goes from end of September to December for whitetail. Got 10 does coming in most every morning and evening. Waiting on a good buck. But in NC can get 4 does and 2 bucks every year. Thankful for my health and health of my family. God bless brother
The area that you are hunting is absolutely gorgeous I love it the view that beautiful sunset as well my youngest son just purchase the elk call that came in and he's been practicing except this one problem where we live there are no elk so far I think they said in one area then bringing them in but as far as it being natural to the state. Now what are you going to be hunting for next? May God bless you and have a wonderful weekend
I will try to get in a little grouse hunting, but that will be it for this year. Thanks for watching. Would love to see your son practice that elk call.
@@MinuteontheMountain oh okay so that's what you're going to get into sounds good. I hope you catch a few and he's been putting out traps for trapping and I would definitely ask him to see if he was show Elk call practice he was learning in watching videos but let's see if he'll do it if you feel confident enough LOL talk to you soon.
Hello my friend, nice country out there. I never hunted elk but would like to. Quick question: how many people does it take to pack out an average size bull elk? Or do you haul it out on 4-wheeler or a pack horse? Take Care and Keep Exploring The Outdoors.
Unpaved, I can haul 1 hindquarter and the backstraps with the pack I have or 2 front quarters. If I have to do it alone, it is usually three trips for a bull. Three guys could get it done in one trip. Thanks for watching.
Hi, just came across your video. Beautiful country! I don't supposed you'd be willing to send me a direct message and share with whereabouts you were hunting? Just picked up my first Any Bull tag and trying to find an area to hunt. Been consider the South Slope, Nine Mile, and the Box Elder area.
