Boys I'm getting this car Tuesday, I passed my driving test on July 20th ordered this car 1 week later, I was lucky because someone pulled out on the sale on this car. Its been a long wait because as you all know at the moment a snail is quicker then the Dvla lol but I've finally got my licence so I'm collecting it Tuesday. I don't know much about cars but this one seems great, especially for a first car. I absolutely can not wait!

The Vauxhall Corsa does share the underpinnings of the Peugeot 208, that’s why it doesn’t feel like a Vauxhall when you’re inside it

Good drive, love the interior, when in higher speeds a little noisy engine but I don’t agree it has a smooth suspension. The parking brake is annoying especially on hill parking. !

Yeah, I thought about the whole parking brake situation. Purchased mine yesterday, collecting it Friday and will have this to get use to it...

on the auto u pull up turn off handbrake turns on no using the handbrake switch!

Why are Vauxhall using opel cars and selling them under their brand in the UK?

That’s a good question but we’re unsure also. We’d think it’s to do with them trying to branch out to the Europe market as Opel is the European version, therefore getting more sales. A google search might answer this question also

@@terrificspokesman7416 vaxhuall and opel were two separate companies in 1920's they were both bought out by general motors. Technically Vaxhuall is the an all British car brand as most of there vehicles are manufactured in the UK. Opel's largest marketing is the UK, so I guess it makes sense from a marketing point of view they label it as a British brand. But they're now part of the PSA group, so everything you have hear is Peugeot.

@@samf8074 yeah but all the cars themselves are German from most of the parts and all those stuff and many Vauxhalls are built in Germany.

@@terrificspokesman7416 hmm I'm not too sure you're right whilst opel is a German company by nature it has been in ownership of an American company and now a French company. Vachxall's range has been trimmed to meet the Peugeot range, everything you find in a modern vachuall you'll find psa parts. Most importantly the engines...

Buy a Peugeot 208 gtline instead, much better car, stage 1 remap and ram air induction kit, 160 bhp, 220 ibft of torque, you get the performance and the sound plus 55 mpg, 👍
