I bought my black MT03, after 10 years without riding, in order of making some kind of adaptation before higher displacement. After two monthes, 2000 km and all I have to say is that I m very satisfied, an excellent bike.

When we get around to the episode in which we will be showing our WorX pack installation the exhaust will be one of the things that will get installed.

Yea it's close but every one of these numbers will differ because there are no absolute dyno numbers. Best way to measure performance is lap times....that is what I always say.

Hahaha...yes. We do. We sell a lot of those actually. Bart is the guy that designed all those parts and we have been manufacturing them for a number of years now since the R3 launched.

This really depends on proper care of the bike. As long as it is maintained properly the reliability should not be affected. I would say maybe shorten the intervals for all periodic services. The valve adjustment should definitely be done more frequently if you want that performance to not deteriorate over time.

How much shorten the intervals?

My dealer said to stay under 9k RPM until you hit 600 miles and do the first oil change

We do not recommend anything as far as break in goes. That is up to you. The owner's manual has instructions for that.

@@austinmordja8269 under 7k rpm and dont drive constantly on one rpm.

We haven't tuned it yet.

None of our mods would contribute to vapor lock on the bike so we have not had this issue. For your set of symptoms I would recommend thinking outside vapor lock and try to find an alternative theory of what is causing the symptoms. Vapor lock is highly unlikely on this little fuel injected bike.

@@TSTindustries I’m going back and forth between possibly the fuel tank hose is kinked when I placed it back on after the power commander 5. I thought possibly a lean issue and installed a O2 optimizer with the sensor delete to get it to a rich state. -that didn’t work. It happens during the day when it’s 110+ out. Took it in the morning in the 80’s and no issue. So I thought cooling issue possibly. Coolant fan works. Coolant at max level. No burnt fuse. Possibly a bad power commander box. But going to check over the evap system to insure it’s in good working order. If so. Uninstall the power commander and reinstall the O2 sensor. The issue only arises when’s it’s super hot outside. I’m at a loss and the only other thing I can think of is possibly install the block off plate and delete the charcoal can. I’m at a loss. Bike only had 1100 miles so it kind of frustrating.

@@xman20427 do you have the ability to log the afr feom your O2 SENSOR? logs would help with finding the cause.

@@xman20427 what is the optimizer you mentioned? Is it the dynojet autotune module?

Nowadays the power commander 5 has the ability to alter ignition timing and raise rev limit, in addition to fuel tuning. If you go that route your dyno tuner will thank you because tuning a PC is so much easier and less consuming than flashing. Either way you have access to the main parameters that need to be adjusted for proper mixture and power delivery

What exhaust system are you putting on and does it need any modification ? how does it sound etc.

The hard components yes, but not the ecu program. I would also recommend a 25 specific exhaust in place of the ones we provide

The unit is the same but manufacturers list power outputs measured at the crank, not the wheel. The drivetrain causes some loss and therefore the actual output of the bike is less at the rear wheel than at the crank.

We designed the fender eliminator components back in 2015 and they became a huge success. After that we were focusing on other bikes/projects so going back and re-thinking an already successful fender eliminator seemed counter productive.

At what point did you start feeling this symptom?

@@TSTindustries I bought it second hand with 1500k on it two years ago. The problem didn't appear until three days after cash purchase including a two day ride home from the northern part of the country. The guy never rode it and it had sat for almost two years. He said he would just start it and let it run /ride a little to keep it alive. Wow, thanks for responding!

Yes, we do B02 ecus all the time

That is part of the service manual and is the property of Yamaha. By buying one copy of the manual we get a license to use that copy for ourselves. Reproduction is explicitly prohibited.
