In horse racing they place almost the same importance to every one associated with the winners - I mean the horse, the jockey, the trainer, the owner, the breeder, the carer, everybody seems to the winner.

Super win! What a rider! She conserved his energy and he was there when she needed at the end. Personally felt Cloth Cap was ridden too hard when appeared to be tiring. Pulling up after he broke down and then having to be put down does nothing for the sport.

The owner of the horse who unfortunately was fatally injured the long mile was owned by J.P.MCMANUS. who also owned the winner.. he is one of our best owners and would have been devastated to lose him. Glad u enjoyed Rachael's historic win she really is simply the best.

It is so sad to see these horses go through such a race in modern times like this. Again another fatal injury that was reported on the track (6:23 Long Mile), but did the first grey horse also suffer an injury after falling at the first fence? When the camera angle changes and shows the straight line from the landing of the last fence in line, the horse is still on the track. Also a bad fall for the Double Shuffle and 2 horses at the chair that could have ended with fatalities. Shame, shame, shame
For all your "could have" attempts at being negative all those fallers you mentioned did not die in the race. Yes one did later die which was very sad for everyone concerned.
I'm guessing alot off the horses get lowered to like 11-1 / 9.1 and what not so the bookies dont pay out alot cause oets face it a bet there wasent as many low amounts as there was in the race a day before or so or a few hours before as poeple would realize the low amount off money ther bookies pay out and they wouldnt be as seduced into playing it how come any second now is 15/2 and I'm sure last year it were sommet /2 aswell
now I am sure the young girls all around the world can say, women can beat the men and be coma a champion not counting the are women paly agest other women, but this along show jumping eventing and Motor racing, not the w-series can win agest the men's
Good for her. BUT! She wields that whip really harshly. No finesse. Beat the horse to make it run faster when it is already running flat out?! No thanks.
Uppity... The jockey is swinging her right arm with the whip, the horse knows the speed of the arm and whip movement means push on as fast as you can. It`s a communication the jockey and horse get together for a perfect partnership.
