Even though it didn't appear in the actual TV broadcast, I added the cell phone video of Big Al in his popcorn costume at the very end. It's noticeably lower quality video, but I think it will be one of my lasting memories of this game.
I think even that early on that desperation was starting to creep in for Coach Kiffin as he felt the game slipping away. A feeling no doubt amplified by the embarrassment of his own pregame comments ;) RTR
it is all about the statistics of it. it is crazy but that's why they do it. if you go for it on fourth the odds say you will succeed more than you fail.
Thank you for editing out Gary's snark about Slade Bolden. People gave him so much shit about that, but what about the pass Williams bobbled straight into a defenders' hands? Not a peep.
Good point, and yeah I made a conscious decision to cut that out. It was a bad drop, but it didn't impact the rest of that game with Florida. It won't define Bolden's career. His teammates and coaches still have confidence in him.
Because it would’ve been huge at the time had we lost that game and it was fresh. Yes Jamo wasn’t perfect but his ability was MUCH higher than Slade’s. Slade came through as serviceable but we say in the Natty how much Jamo and Metchie were missed.
@@tonythetiga4697 not just how much Metchie and Williams were missed but only 1 RB was at 100%, (B-Rob) We lost starting CB Jobe in the SECCG as well and then our other starting CB Armour-Davis in the semi final. We were obviously the best team and lost cause we were too depleted. All those player hurt yet still a 1 possession game with under a min left while the SECCG was over after Bama’s 1st drive in the 3rd Q.
