I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed watching this. First time ever. I appreciate that the opponents give each other a fist-bump and say "good shot" no matter what the situation. No sore losers/winners here. 👍
@@raymondo162 It's 27 feet between boards. Players alternate throwing 4 bags per round. Bag in the hole is 3 points. Bag on the board is 1 point. Bag off the board is 0 points. It's cancellation scoring. If you throw a 9 and your opponent throws an 8. You get 1 point for that round. If you throw a 12 and your opponent throws a 12, then it's a wash and neither player gets any points for that round. First player or team to 21 wins. Exceptions to this would be if it's a round limited game which is normally set at 10 or 12 rounds. In those games whichever player or team is ahead after 10 or 12 rounds wins. Doesn't have to be 21 points.
I hear what you are saying but it makes the yanks feel special, they got to be the best at everything, the best prisons, the best homeless, the best cop vs unarmed people, the best extremists. Good on the yanks for the great entertainment
i saw a smaller version of this in a pub in sussex (south england, uk*) in the early 1970s. the pub version was called 'toad in the hole' the target was a foot square topped with lead, the projectiles were heavy brass coins (i think). *(formerly eu)
ok, just played in my first cornhole tournament ever, doubles. we got second place. I was like, "alright, maybe i could get into this" then i see these guys draining almost every shot lolol guess its back to my day job haha
I'm brand new to cornhole. (Just learned of this game yesterday.) I have a question. During this video, when each of the players were competing against each other, they ALTERNATED throwing their four bags. However, according to the Official Sanctioned Rules rules of the American Cornhole Association, the play of the game is as follows "4. The top of an inning is completed when the first player pitches all four bags; the bottom of the inning is completed when the remaining player pitches all four bags." As noted, they weren't doing this. So, which is the proper way to play?
@@markb8954 Since I wrote my question, two weeks ago, I've learned a lot about cornhole. And yes, I found out it is indeed quite proper and correct to alternate throws back and forth. I do believe that sentence would benefit from being re-worded. THANKS!
Amen brother, there ain't would've been a world without the US of A. Y'all bushwhackers would've lost world war one and two without us Americans. Greatest country in the world with the best beer, sports, and grillin'.
@@JosephSivits you should go back to school and do history lessons ^^ The only thing america is best is being ignorant and thing they are the greatest of the world besides they are a 3rd world country ^^
It’s not hard. Not at all. It’s about 100 times easier than bowling. Play 3 or 4 times, and you’ll be half as good as these guys already. This is the silliest thing I have ever seen
Why is it always the snap-back guy, Jordan Power, picking up the bags in the hole? Seems to me like he's theputting in more work! Glad he's doing good!
Contestant: "I'll take 'Argument Enders' for $800, Mayim." Mayim Bialik: "The answer is 'The Cornhole World Championships.'" Contestant: "What is the event that finally ended the debate about whether or not bowling was a sport?" Mayim Bialik: "Correct. The board is yours."
@@littlewag7 yeah, it's totally fair for someone who's playing a game/sports, to make more money than someone who contributes to society: nurses, teachers, plumbers, firefighters, the military, the people who cleaned workplaces, classrooms and hospitals during covid... That there is so much money in sports and certain levels of entertainement is a shame! I get it, people are ready to pay for it, advertisers are happy, but it doesn't make it good and right.
I'm here because I fr didn't know cornhole had an actual championship or was an actual sport I thought it was a sport for me and my friends drunk af to play but now I now
I love this, I'm from the UK just bought a board for going camping. To answer most questions on here 'because why not'. There are a lot more sports/games that have been about for ages that are completely random. Look at all these gaming competitions out there, they're just using their fingers staring at screens
Please for the love of the game, KEEP THE CAMERA ON THE BOARD WHEN BAGS ARE LIVE. I'm not talking about forgetting to change it. I'm referring to during shots showing a backed up view of boards and players and crowd. Smh
