With "only" 2l and 150 CV this engine has 4.3 l/100 at 120 km/h and reaches 100 Km/h in 8 sec. Impressive....

buy racechip or ecu remap for few hundred euro and you will get powerfull version

Today, the only thing that aren't plastic are the engine block, cylinder head and exhaust manifold. Pretty much all the remaining is.

consumption higher then in passat or škoda 2.0 tdi 150hp and now more then in american version of Jetta with petrol 1,4 tsi older engine 147/150hp

Onboard computer numbers in VAG group cars are always fake, lying, wrong, countless tests with refilling, calculating the real consumption and comparing it to the numbers shown by the car have proven that. VAG is always cheating / faking.

Enough for what? You can see how it drives, you can see how it responds. Now, you are the only one able to judge if this is good enough for you, or not... But if you are like a solid 99% of bmw comments on youtube, it's not enough because what you need is an m3.... lol.

@454casull Better fuel consumption, also at higher speeds and a diesel drives more comfy due to shorter rev range. Only get a diesel if you drive 20km+ trips though.

@@ThenameisOskar Diesel more problems than petrol, what you save on fuel, you pay on maintenance, engine noise is annoying and how can be a diesel car more comfortable to drive if the range of engine reving is shorter than a petrol engine ?!

i cannot believe that american Jetta with 1,4 tsi 150hp consume less then this diesel bmw in all speeds from 80-180kmh
