Serious Torque BMW is notorious for stiffer suspension as I have a 95 325is in storage in showroom condition I love these cars and I loved your great well explained review Must have been a experience for you driving Now your getting bigger and into more exotic machines which is great as you truly deserve it with your hard work It must be tough with some dealers but never let it get you down as you are giving others great reviews and you can’t beat free knowledge and advertising Take care brother Good job Keep it up love the body style

Nothing will replace your 335 trust me. The newer ones are nice but they aren’t like the old ones for sure. Older ones were more engaging

I drove RWD and it scared me. I didn’t feel confident. So much power! I loved the car. I am ordering an Xdrive.

You completely missed out on the Sport Plus mode! And then you can get it to shift even more aggressive when you put the transmission in Sport mode as well, instead of Comfort mode.

Only major issue I see with the interior is the very hard plastic in the doors where you put your arm, and a very rock hard lower dash panel.

Something that people don’t talk about in regards to the 2020 vs. 2021... the 2020s are built in German, the 2021s are built in Mexico.

Does the new mild hybrid system make the auto start-stop a lot smoother than before or just about the same? Does the air-conditioning blower turn down during engine stop period like before? Any acceleration advantage of this MH system compared to before? Would you think the 2021 mild hybrid system make the M340i a better car than the 2020 model? Thanks

Start stop super smooth and “smarter”. AC does take a dip on stop period but I ease off the brake for a quick second to undo on a hot day. No acceleration advantage but shifts feel a tad smoother than the 2020. I’d say it’s preference. 2020 has a tad more aggressiveness and exhaust has pops and bubbles. Mild pops and bubbles in 2021 if any. Both very fun to drive

@@Iegend17 when u use the paddles in auto the car doesn’t shift as quickly as when you put it into manual, so u don’t have to downshift 35 times to go in to a lower gear

@@victorzerpa1142 well the car has to be in the right gear to be able to downshift. Anyways thanks for the advice. I’ll definitely try it next time and see if works. I appreciate it and I’ll let you know if it’s faster. We live and learn :)

You can if you want. It feels smooth and I love it. Sometimes you don’t hear it or feel it

I test drove this and flooring the gas pedal in a straight line felt amazing. However, trying to shift gears myself a lot around a lot of corners and mountainous roads felt really bad. The paddles don't feel that good to use and the transmission sometimes didn't want to listen when I already shift down and up a lot through a lot of turns. It felt very darty and I didn't like it. I ended up getting the C43 instead. It is slower in a straight line for sure, but everything felt more controllable and the exhaust sound and engine sound are a lot better in the C43. The steering in the BMW is heavier but also very numb, the C43 felt more connected. I know this is mostly my opinion but just thought I'd let people who are shopping for this car know to also test drive the C43 as well.

@@BN99239 grew up racing karts my dude, you do most shifting (downshifting) in the braking zone and at most are grabbing 2 gears through the corner if it's a long sweeper into the exit. You don't know how to drive if you're constantly downshifting and upshifting mid-corner.

@@savannahkorben7353 Then it seems like you don't know how to read and jumped to conclusions. Why the hell would I be shifting multiple times through 1 corner? I meant that on a windy road, I would constantly be shifting. As in every corner requires downshifts and then eventually upshifts once there's a straight after. The M340i transmission is not responsive there since it's not grabbing the right gears or lag. If I didn't know how to drive then why would my experience in a C43 feel better? It would be the same across the board no matter what car I drive. Does that still not make sense to you? It seems like you don't even think man. You're literally trying to show off something as simple as braking and shifting online like it's a big deal and takes someone who "grew up racing karts" to know how to do this properly lmao.

Thien Tran it might be because it’s lighter but I have to test drive the type s. I can’t wait for the type s I might get one myself tbh hopefully it doesn’t disappoint

It’s much faster. The type S is gorgeous but this thing is faster than an F80 M3, so yes it’s faster than a type S.

The type S isn’t out yet. And it def won’t be faster than this. This thing can do 0-60 under 4 seconds stock. The type S will be around 5 seconds. The A spec is like 6.5 seconds 0-60 which is horrible. The problem is there to heavy. The 2.0t Aspec is over 4000lbs.

@@Tsand4 I agree with you. I drove the tlx with the 2.0t very disappointed tbh. But I hope the type s it better or Acura does something to make up for that 5 second 0-60
