I actulally prefer x6 to x5. When you see this car in person you will appreciate it more. Great ground clearance, beastly rear, unique styling and more.

Why is it that out of the growing band of coupé like SUV's, that it's only the X6 that seems to get bashed by reporters for being a coupé? This 3rd generation of the X6 looks bloody well nice to me. I especially like the X6M50i version and after all, who wouldn't want a lit grill? :-))...
Do you think that designer was stupid to put X in such away in the gear shift ?! so you see X only with vertical sight. for me it is just so beautifully looking and X being scattered from any angel view . Also the care is so special on road that people can not just ignore it. it is flagship SAC among its competitors
Looks way better than the previous model. But at here Soviet Finland where the cars are taxed to hell prices are double compared to UK, like prices start from 140000€ to 190000€.
Fantastic job, big improvements from the previous gens. The front grills are more aggressive than any X slightly protruding forward from the bottom gives it and hold school shark nose like effect found on the e24 and e28. Rear is definitely fashion forward, bmw always thinking ahead and taking it to the next level. The back reminds of robo cop, this would be his patrol car.
In the rear His head is literally millimetres from the roof and if he sit back it will touch the roof.! But he says there’s plenty of room. The guy must be in love with this car.
This what the X6 should of looked like in the second Gen. I always felt that the x4 was a baby x6. Look at what we have now BMW is back on track and the truck looks beautiful. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
@ Milannekuhh- Congrats for the nex X6..i am debating between X5 vs X6 2020. X5 i found more practical..better value for $$..But X6 on the other hand less practical BUT its stylish & cool design. Pls provide some of your experience. Thanks a ton in advance:)
The grille is enormous. Bmw needs to redesign and the shape of the front grille same goes to the front headlight to a sharper looky design. The rear end is spectacular.
and what about the jd power table on reliability (its not good for bmw as a whole) I feel if this was a jaguar Land Rover product you would be keen to tell us about.
For the first few seconds of this video, I had the impression that another, brilliant British car journalist was speaking... :-) Anyway.. those grills may be good for the Chinese (no disrespect intended), but in Europe the tastes are usually a bit different. Other than that, it seems that it has everything: quality, performance, decent comfort, driving experience. Thanks Doug for the neat test.
Bro, the new version is no doubt a more modern version of the previous 2nd gen model, but it’s not night and day. Not sure how you go from not liking the previous model to loving this! They are basically the same shape just more refined.
The funny thing about BMW owners is that they will tell you so many bad things about their car. But if asked what will be your next car they will answer BMW !
The coupe` style roof isn't why the visibility is poor, it's the high ass in the air design blocking your direct line of sight, most car manufacturers camouflage it by adding reverse cameras
wait, why does that x6 not have a sun roof? i just placed my order for a 2021 X6 in the US, i skipped the exec package and the stupid LEDs in the roof because i was told that it comes with a sunroof already.
Ultimate sports suv is Porsche Cayenne or maccan . (Alfa Romeo stalvio ) is close enough . All other SUV's are just typical SUV's with stiff suspension .
As before, it looks terrible from the rear but now also looks bad from the front! However the interior looks great (and thankfully the infotainment system can still be controlled by a rotary knob - Audi please note). It sounds as though it will be good to drive, but why would anyone choose one over the better-looking X5?
