if you are going to use silicone , here's trick to keep your line really clean. #1 Run your bead of silicone(You don't need a 1/2 wide strip of it...3/16th works. After your have put down your bead take a spray-bottle , filled with Water and give the whole area a good spritz so your whole work area is covered..No, NOT 15 gallons...just enough to give the area some moisture...Now use your finger( I use my pinky because I've got thick ass crippled fingers) and push you finger down firmly and follow the path of your silicone...The silicone will stick to the are that wasn't wet but will come off on the wet area so there is no need to clean up afterwards. Cured or even wet silicone SUCKS to have to clean up...I promise you will be happy you did it this way. Side tip---This works for plumbing silicone or even caulk . your end product will look much cleaner! Hope it helps at least one of u.

Hey Deidre! Slight angle adjustments to your bars position can make a big difference in how the air flows and can greatly reduce any type of wind noise. You also want to ensure the air foils are positioned correctly. Thanks for your support!
Bought this bar, got the harness all cut to wire into aux switches and this bar is loud, wind noise is unbearably loud, anyone have an ideas or fixes for this?

Hey there @stevengonzalez6917! They work fantastic with the short roof racks but if you are using a full size rack that already occupies the RTM roof mounts over the windshield then you would need to mount the bar directly to your rack. Please let us know how we can serve further!
