Sam great review. Love the look of the XT6. Particularly the “Black Edition” all murdered out. I will go as far as to say the best looking mid level luxury SUV. Cadillac has got it going on, and for the price it makes it very hard to beat.
I just picked up my 2022 XT6 Premium Luxury last week and I couldn't be happier with it! Terrific looking and functional, great space and comfort, reasonably priced for it's segment, great tech and safety features, plenty of power and a smooth ride! It's my first domestic US car brand purchase in 20 years.
I just bought a new 2024 XT6 Radiant Red w/ Cirrus interior. When I opened the door to check it out the color combination blew me away. Then driving it and how smooth it rode was really nice. Beautiful vehicle all the way.
I have the 2020 model and at first was skeptical about it but after having it for nearly 4 months now absolutely love it. I would agree it would of been nice to have a larger towing option and the twin turbo option but for the price can’t complain. The interior is a lot nicer than I anticipated and the outside is pretty slick. I’ve had plenty of compliments on it.
@@LordWinter 1 year doesn’t make much difference about designs car companies usually hold back they had concepts 10 years ago car companies that had technology you can’t even see in cars today they always hold back this Cadillacs could have been made 10 years ago if they wanted to they just don’t do it then they will run out of designs they always do little changes every 3 years depends on the car companies so they keep selling same as phone companies apple is an example they barley change anything every year or every 2 years
Wow, just amazing ❤️most experience Cadillac Ive driven in, runs so smoothly it is like you driving in the clouds I am manifest this lovely black suv luxury 🙏🌟🌃 XT6 vehicle, It is mines with all my heart for keeps with all the bells and whistles! I see myself driving eveyday . Thank you 💫Universe
I prefer the Aviator. It has more curb appeal and feels better inside. This is coming from a Tahoe LTZ owner. The Aviators lease terribly though, so that may not fit everyone’s lifestyle especially if you’re a business owner who prefers to lease their cars vs finance or buy them outright.
@@Twittavelli well, dodge/fiat are quite on their level of cheaply made, specially in their lower priced cars, while Ford has a hair better material quality, but not by much. It’s all plastic, soft or hard, imo. I don’t own either brands, but my husband gets the chance once in awhile to get trucks/suv/cars from enterprise, and I get to park them, or move them. So I get to check them out.
I have owned an XT6 Sport now for almost a month. Got the white one with the onyx package, black rims, etc. Love it. My one and only complaint is I feel like they should have added a turbo to this engine. For its size, 300hp is solid but with a turbo, that extra 50-75 hp would push it well beyond.
I got the XT6 last month and I totally agree with you. I also feel that for as much as it cost the display screen should be finger print resistant and more of the upgraded options should just be standard.
I feel like the Cadillac XT6 would be ideally compared with a BMW X5, rather than an X7, if you wanted to compare from a pure exterior dimension I think the BMW X7 would compare more of the Cadillac Escalade.
Great review as always! The XT6 is a definite contender for us, but I'm really looking forward to the new Acura MDX and your review of that car. My only hangup with the XT6 is how similar it is to the traverse and enclave. Plus, the Telluride SX prestige gives you more space for less with similar refinement. Of course it's still a Kia though without the marquee of being a true luxury car.
I think i will stick to the Lincoln Aviator, this Cadillac seems too boxy not to mention way under powered compared to the Lincoln. Its funny how they say the interior is performance inspired but the engine itself is under powered.
I have a 2021 XT6 sport package all blacked out just like the one you’re testing. I wanted night vision but didn’t come with it. I love the vehicle. Got rid of XTS. wanted a full size sedan but Caddy seems to be eliminating them. I can’t tell you the stares I get with this vehicle. It’s got plenty of get up too. So far extremely pleased
Honestly curious, all you people in the comments. Would you take this or the Aviator? For me personally this is by far the best exterior, but aviator has a by far better interior.
We love 🇨🇦 .. Love from Chicago 😊 Anything above 30k I will need a co,signer and maybe perhaps 2 banks for a loan. saving up for two years from now. I do love 90% of the vehicles in year 2021
XT6 is absolutely gorgeous more than I can say about the 21 escalade... And please everyone understand I AM a GM man but I agree that the aviator is a very special SUV. Would it never buy one (it's a ford) but I can appreciate it...
Agree I love the look especially in the shadow metallic color but it's just overpriced for what you are getting, even with GM/ Cadillac's incentive pricing.
Cadillac is going all electric in the coming years. It’s a shame because the electric ELR in 2014 was a beautifulllllllll failure. Let try it again 😀. I’m sorry to say Cadillac lost its identity. Everything and every item I grew up around was measured and compared to a Cadillac . And then Cadillac went and chased European cars and failed miserably . What would Elvis be driving if he was here . Certainly not a Cadillac
Many disappoints with XT6. Small infotainment system, XT5 HVAC control, and FWD platform instead of using CT6 chassis. Still wife likes it and it may be a replacement for her car as CT5's rear seats were so cramped and it was impossible for me to sit in it
Oh weLL.. ADVERTISED Cadillac, but his Favorite Lincoln.. How come.. You should tape in the back with the DEALER So we can seen license plate hanging there 🤔
XT6 has only been out for a year - and many of your facts are quite subjective... Clean up the background of your messy office and work on the lighting - you look stoned... not a great effort.
