Interesting, but you should have compared like with like. You can get the Range Rpver Sport with the same BMW V8 in the RRS P530, without bothering with the SV. And the X6 can be had with air suspension.

The horsepower is always at the crank, not the wheels. Once you bolt up the transmission, the rear axle, the differential, and all of the other components in the engine the parasitic loss happens. There are always ways to remove some of these factors by deleting components that are belt-driven or lightening up driveshafts and other drivetrain components. Of course, replacing certain stock components with aftermarket ones, and getting a re-tune in some cases, will help too.
That Volvo also needs to be in power -driving mode so it doesn't try to guess if you really want to go or not when you stomp the pedal. Volvo has also lost its supercharger - T8 recharge is not twin charged, it has only turbocharger in its engine and more power on the hybrid. Does Volvos hybrid system still cut off somewhere after 130kph/80mph? The older twin charged T8 pulls happily well beyond 200kph/125mph. Havent checked how the torque figures of the old and new petrol engines compare.

You need to tap the traction control twice very fast. Either that or you can also push the traction control and hold it there for 6 seconds and put it on race mode. You got track mode. You do have a track mode and you can also pull out the full wheel. Drive, pull it out and locks the rear end. And now you got pause It with track mode.
