I think if you push and hold the traction control button it'll turn the electronic stable control off completely It should read ESC off if you hold the traction control button for more than 5 Seconds
I appreciate your honesty with this test. I really do. Nobody wants to put their car out there. You did. Thanks! I have a 21’ GT PP1 manual and the best I can get is a 4.6. I was kind of disappointed too. But it is what it is… I had an 18 GT PP1 manual too and I got a 4.4. But that car had the Michellin PS4S and my 21 has shitty Pirellis as FORD put the Michellin PS4S on the Mach 1 instead of the PP1. So the 5.0 manual on a stock set up with bomb tires, best I got was 4.4. Of the Stang with the 10A, with good tires, I could def see 4.0. Tires snd auto make all the difference in the world. Thanks for your transparency!
I’ll definitely try that out once I find it lol but If the car doesn’t hook with a 1400rpm brake torque, I don’t know if a 2000rpm+ launch would help but I’ve definitely seen stock videos of 3.8’s and 3.9’s in this car but 99% sure those were all with upgraded tires.
@@WTFCRLT1 Yeah competitive mode is the way to go with Launch control it helped my 0-60 times a lot I went from 4.3 seconds without to averaging 3.9-4 sec. I hit 3.8 a couple of times on my stock 245s. EDIT: Make sure your tires are nice and warm first the 6.2 spins these wheels very very easily
Any tire recommendations? I tried putting 245 Nitto 555 G2’s on mine in the back and I actually was getting much worse 0-60 times, not even in the 4’s.
That’s a good time on stock tires! I could have kept going, found a smooth road, and gotten a better time, but I didn’t think it was worth it to completely burn out my tires lol but a 15-20mph roll and this LT1 can HOOK. I’ll have another video with a before and after comparison when I get some sticky tires. I appreciate your input!
Those V6’s are underrated af I’ve been trying to get my hands on one for a while now haha but it depends on the wheelspin, my car had a ton and after throwing on 255 wide Indy 500 tires it got the 0-60 time down to 4.2-4.3 with just 255 wide tires.
A v6 lol, how cute. Should of bought a Mustang. Camaros should not have those baby 6's in them. American muscle only, v8 all day. Those ls engines can take so much more torque with add ons vs a v6 would blow a piston.
@@infktiousvenom1061 how about you stop talkin all that shit n post your v8. Oh wait you probably don’t even have one 😂 you prolly can’t even afford a brand new V6. When I trade my 1LT for a Fairwell Edition SS in 2024 I will still respect the V6 Camaro. It’s a great, fun car to drive w great gas mileage. Really can’t go wrong with it. If I supercharged my V6 it’d beat v8s all day there are videos of that on RU-vid smart ass. Most people don’t mod there v8 cause it’ll ruin there warranty. Hell even a good tune kit alone n it would b about 400hp. The SS only has 455. & I should’ve bought a mustang? The stang is a fucking joke compared to the maro. The Camaro shits on the mustang n any dodge ever produced. You don’t kno shit jitt.
Glad you like it! Thanks again for the idea and overall input. The gas mileage is truly remarkable. I was hoping for 18-19 before I bought the car so you can only imagine how happy I am with it
You need to be stopped. Put the car into sport mode or track mode. Press the traction control button twice. You will get a message in your information area of your dash that say competitive mode activated. You will now be able to access more menus in your information center. One of them will be launch control use this when doing 0- 60 or any timed test.
I got quoted 356 a month for a 39 month lease $0 down sign and drive, and about 170 a month for insurance as a 22 year old with a clean driving record driving since 16 and having a car lease under my name for 3 years. The quoted LT1 was with the RS package and dual mode exhaust. There were some options that I didn’t want like floor mats and engine block heater that took off $300 from the MSRP, so probably around $350 a month. I ordered mine like 3 weeks ago with estimated delivery of 6-8 weeks with technology package, RS package, and dual mode exhaust, I’m assuming it’s going to be around 365-370 a month.
They sell a lot better down south since it’s drivable all year round, therefore the deals you can ultimately get won’t be as great as they are up north simply due to availability. I’ll make a video about payments shortly. I got an incredible deal even though I’m in FL, but I couldn’t get the same spec that I originally wanted which isn’t really a big deal.
@@ButterlesToast $356 a month?! That's a steal, I pay $400 for my 2013 charger rt. Did you get any options on it? Here in LA county they gave me a quote of $263 for insurance with a good drivers record. Lol
Launch control wont do ya any good unless beating on it at a dtag strip. All the car mags got their quickest times without launch control but in full sport modes and shifter in S or D.
your 5.7 hemi aint running 12.16 @117.8 mph Like my 23 LT1 A10 on 245 stock tires ...my best 0-60 is 4.1 my car has exactly 100 miles on it in 2 days and already been to track test n tune 20 min after i picked it up !!!
break in your car the way you want it to run ..... i alaways did a spirited 500 miles then drop oil and filter then again at 1500 then every 3000 miles

LT1 comes standard with a 6 speaker Bose audio system. Surprising since it’s unlabeled I didn’t know it was a Bose either, but it says so on Chevys website as well as the owners manual
Not with their old 6 spd autos. The 6 spd stick LS2 GTO'S did 4.9 to 5.2 sec and the 2005 to 2008 LS2 C6 did it in 4.7 auto, 4.5 stick. I had both cars and knew how to drive them.
@@NAZTYPONY007exatly. The old GTO LS2 was quickest with the 6 spd manual too, but they ran 13.2@108 mph while the LS2/3 C6 did 12.8@110 because it wss 3400 lbs, the gto stick wad 3680 and the 6 spd auto was 3850 lbs.
@@WTFCRLT1 just went through settings on touch I only have steering no exhaust. What do you suggest. Some people say turn off car sport mode and remove npp fuse. What do you think.
Trade that thing for a manual transmission LT one upgrade the tires to 285 front 305 rear and enjoy the hell out of it the manual transmission is the way to go the LT one is lighter than the SS the automatic saps power from the engine yes it’s 1/ 10th of a second quicker on the track but most of you guys will not track this car you’re going to drive it on the road get the manual 6 speed. An automatic drives you. You drive a manual, Less than 13% or six speed manual so they will go up in value in time you’ll thank me later goodbye.
Manual transmissions coming in last in a drag race would like to have a word with you. Don't take my word for it though. Maybe take the word of Jeff Lutz instead given that John Ward is no Jeff Lutz? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-66kcZYTncMg.html
