I was in the same boat. I don't do heavy mudding really, mostly trails with holes here and there. I originally wanted the XT but this is the first 650 I found in stock. The main thing that deterred me from the XMR was the tires as I have to take paved roads to many of the trails I ride. I think if I had the choice and both were in stock, I would probably go with the XMR and get a 2nd set of tires, just so I wouldn't have to worry about a rad relocate if I ever found myself needing it.
Saaaame here. I ended up with the 2021 XT 650 mossy oak edition. Pleased with it for the few miles I've put on this afternoon. I'll probably put some more aggressive tires on. Just happy it came with a winch.
@@beardedpatriot0 Have you guys missed the Fox damper or the extra power to the 1000 until now? I'm just about to make the same decision - greetings from Germany
The tracks are from a log skidder, thatpart at 9:23 is from the blade on the skidder, on hard ground the tracks are hard to see because of the wide tires.
650 and above are all power houses. 850 is a bored out 650. While riding trails, mudding, not enough power has never crossed my mind. As soon as you press the gas you have all the power you need and the wheels never stop turning. The one place I feel more power would be nice is popping wheelies, and a good tune could resolve that. You can wheelie with a 650 but you have to put more effort in. I think the bigger comparison between the 2 would be the electronic throttle. Thanks for watching and I'll gladly answer any question you have. I plan to review it soon.
I honestly have not had much alone time on it since I got it. I usually have my wife with me when we go riding on the weekends and if I crank it with my kids around they of course want to ride as well. It will be pretty chilly this weekend but I hope to get back out there. We still have much exploring to do.
I owe 2800$ on my 2020 krx 1000 I will be buying me one most likely the 850 I got ride of my quad last year and have been sick over it since not as many places to ride the krx 1000 can’t wait to get me a outlander that 650 is great looking machine more power than what I need I just think for not more I get the 850 but who knows just have to wait and see keep the videos coming I would like to see a king term review of let’s say 2500-5k miles on it and get your honest review of what has failed or broke or hasn’t
That KRX 1000 is a nice machine, but you are right, you are limited to where you can ride. If you can afford an 850, go for it, but the 650 won't let you down. Right now it will probably come down to what you can find. I went by our Honda shop today to try on helmets and they had no ATVs in stock, only 2 Talons.
@@chasintrail same here no deluxe model 520 and we order the 850 max before thanksgiving and still don’t have it have many dealers they all say 12-16 week wait wtf I thought I was gonna have my side by side paid off when we order but things change vacation upgrades some things in house but I will still get one soon I don’t owe that much more in the krx but wife said I can’t get quad till it paid for happy wife happy life lol
Who owns that land your on? Just wondering if you got approval... I really need to find some land to ride on like that! In the market for same atv! Keep the vids coming!
We live in a fairly rural area with lots of farm land. We just stumbled upon ATV tracks while riding. I have yet to run into anyone on the trail but there are always fresh tracks. I have lived in this area all of my life and as long as you are respectful, owners typically don't mind and if they do, it is usually posted. Thanks for watching, I do plan on doing more. I may even edit the footage one of these days.
She prefers the standard, non max. She likes holding on to me and being against me. She can use me to hide from mud or splash. There is plenty of room in my opinion. I have the smaller Linq rear box now so if we are just cruising, she can just lean back.
Could not get over how much rubbish is laying around . Don't people have any respect for where they live ? . Oh and your Girlfriend is hot . Just saying
Yeah, most of it is items that the trash pick-up will not accept, and folks are too lazy to properly dispose or just don't know what to do with it. Thanks for the compliment and for watching.
