I took that plastic shield off and threw it away after a flip key ran into it and jammed my machine. It stopped working for awhile until I found an internal fuse blown.
Thanks for the info John, I haven't had my machine apart yet but I'm sure it won't be long. What was the size of the fuse? How difficult was it to get to? Thanks in advance.
Thank you for this video. Like you I always use autel. I got mixed answers some people say the autopropad system for no pin was down. Then someone said no odbstar system for free pin is down. But you just did this today and it worked. So good news for me. But as you know xtool makes autopropad. I wonder if this works with the newest xtool pad 3 as it's cheaper than both or the xtool ik618 as it's a lot cheaper then all 3. I sold my pad3 so can't test. And I haven't bought the new Ik618 from xtool yet.
ODB365 sent me the wrong item. They sent a xtool d9 pro instead. I wrote them for 3 days no response. So I activated the tool and it worked. Right after they wrote me and I said I might as well keep it now. But they said no it cost $200 more to send back. I told them im not sending it back to China after I paid $900 for the tool. They could keep the tool and my money and PayPal couldn't do anything about it because technically it was delivered. So they just blocked it. I'm out $900 im scared to send it back. Even if it does make it. If they blocked it over there own mistake then there is nothing to keep them from not sending me a refund.
Autel can do it, but it needs an ECM/BCM password. Unfortunately, AUTEL in China shut down their services for pin codes, but if managed to get the password else is easy
