I never used any type of additive. Still haven't. And I just use the diesel that the truck stops have. They go through more diesel and usually it's always fresh.
So I know this video is a little old but I wondering if you have seen the 3.0 go into high idle? I live in MN and just bought a 20' Duramax so I'm wondering how it works!
You know, even in the coldest of temperatures, I've never noticed this going into high idle. If it did, I never noticed it. However with that being said, enjoy the Duramax. I've had great luck with mine. It currently has over 30k on it and haven't had one lick of issues with it. Its been an amazing tow rig and great fuel mileage to boot!! (Ave 24 mpg)
@@lightningshifterstudio That's great to hear. I have had mine a week and I am getting around 29 with day to day driving. Kinda driving it like a grandpa to see how high I can get the milage to score! I see an average of 25-26MPG when I drive a little more normal. It has been great so far and can't wait to see how it does this winter. Thanks for the reply!
