GM still is LOW in quality. Check multiple sources regarding their reliability. But in the end, it's your cash.

@@scottwilkins Of course I missed it because it isn't true. If you believe it's true, show me where GM beats Toyota over a 3-5 year period. GM 'may' have beat Toyota in initial quality over 3 months, but that means nothing. It is the long run that matters to most.

Those older Tahoe’s are tanks. New ones have lost the quality. GM has been cutting so many corners in the recent past since the excellent cars of late 90’s and early 2000’s. Loved my ‘04 Malibu when I had it, but constantly hear of issues on other new family GM products now. Important thing to note is that most GM parts are foreign, even if they are assembled in the US.

@@zachjg98 people often exaggerate GMs unreliability. Ive heard many people have had great luck with their newer Tahoes and GMs.

@@andybub45 They will sell a lot, this car is ugly, and over-styled, idk what GM was thinking about when they redesigned this car, they was most likely talking about politics, like old people do, and the robots mistakenly put a Silverado grill on it, and GM said "this looks amazing, let's put it on sell so everyone can shut up". I hate the look, and I hate Chevrolet now, they hurt my soul, with me being a Chevy guy! I especially hate the rear, looks like they just took the rear of the good Tahoe and the Expedition and just put a Chevy emblem there and said "yep this is what y'all get". The price is too high for this ugly car, I hate V8 engines, and for a V8, what a bad output only 355 horsepower, well while you can get the 6.2L, that lowers fuel economy, that is why I hate it, while there are a lot of good stuff about it, like the interior, the 3rd row legroom, and the 3 engine options and amazing I-6 engine price the exterior looks ruins it for me!

Yes, love the amber rear turn signals, I am just disappointed they didn't use leds for rear turn, brake and reverse lights. Come on gm, this is 2021!!!

They haven’t had amber turn signals since the 00-06 model. So it’s been a bit.

@@TJC450 yeah and the original 1st gen GMT 400 Tahoes (95-99) had red signals. Idk why they switched for the 2000 model.

limpunsing22 Symbolism and an “all-American vehicle” are two very different things. When someone says all-American, I think of almost fully American made (parts and all). Being a symbol doesn’t mean it is all-American whatsoever. Also icon? To my knowledge the Mustang, Bronco, old Pontiac Firebird, Corvette, etc. Those are American car icons. Tahoe was introduced in the late 90’s, don’t think that fits the definition of an icon. If it does, then so does the Expedition.

Tahoe and Suburban aren’t luxury vehicles at all. If you want more luxury and more premium lighting elements, that’s why luxury branded versions of this vehicle exist (Aka GMC Yukon Denali and Cadillac Escalade).

@@Tyler-fn7pf its normal on all GM vehicles. The electronics start for a split second before the engine starts. Thats why the gauges went out after he pressed the button, because power is diverted to the starter. The noise was the electronics firing up. Stop being a Ford troll.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see a full digital cluster come for the 2022/2023 model.

That's reserved for the Cadillac Esvalade. However, there are people who prefer analog gauges over digital ones.

@@amininshassi6370 I was also suprised to see the Escalade does not have cooled second row seats, or heated third row seats, which something like the GLS or 7 series offer.

The Sequoia is very outdated compared to this. And you pay nearly just as much! Id rather have a more updated semi reliable car. GM reliability is decent, people often over exaggerate how unreliable GM is. And people that troll on GM (ahem Scotty Kilmer) dont help.

Telluride is not nearly as big as this. Completely different class of vehicle.

@@andybub45 While this might be true, the Telluride manages to only be missing about 3 inches of leg room for the 3rd row and still have more cargo space (extra 6-7 cubic feet with 3rd row up) than the Tahoe. I have no idea how Chevy managed to make a beast this big while still having a relatively comparable interior size to the Telluride.

D Tay that Armada is nice. I actually driven one. Very much like the QX80 and it has higher quality materials.

@@Hennessy198 you also need to keep in mind that this is body on frame and has a V8. This has more cargo room and can tow way more than the Telluride.

It’s all in the audience. If you’re saying this then you aren’t someone they consider selling this SUV to anyway. My mom had a Yukon XL from the time she had my younger brother (kid number 4) until just a few years ago when a couple of us had left the house. We needed the Yukon XL for space and capability. We lived a ways out of town on a road that was public but privately maintained. We get a ton of snow in our area. 4 kids + back roads + kids in sports and with friends means the Yukon XL was a great option for us. She bought it when it was one year old and kept it for 15 years. Had about 230k miles on it when we got rid of it, she also had an Outback for running around without all of us kids. It never required anything other than regular maintenance. It was always a solid, comfortable vehicle that we could count on.

Well it's meant for people with families

This is not a CR-V. This is a full size, semi luxury, body on frame SUV. It is more capable and more powerful than your crossover will ever be.

Just for the driver FYI. The passenger gets a 4 way power seat

Andrew M that’s my point! When you buy an SUV like a Tahoe and it cost that much, you want everything you can get. You only get that much adjustment on the highest trim of the Tahoe, where as you get it on the trim above the base model on the CR-V. My point is, when you pay that much for a car, you should get everything. Especially on a car like this.

@@barbz_zayne You dont get it. The reason why the base model is expensive and doesnt have 12 way seats is because the money is put into a larger vehicle with lots of capability.
