This could be the reason why Yang Jain was not pleased with the result of the recent Olympics 10m Platform… I understand him… I wish to see Chen Aisen and Liam Junjie in the next Olympics for 10m single or synchronized… something to look forward to in Paris2024
@@drhoangsonmirishop228 I see… well, Chinese divers have a lot of talent and its hard to choose who to compete… all of them are deserving… I can’t choose which one is the best, but Chen Aisen is definitely on the front hahaha…
2nd place diver are young and champion in the making, contender in next olympic to challenge Tom & Chen. he was silver medalist in previous youth olympic at 17yo. its good to see him triple up his difficulties up to senior level and scoring total above 500 !! thats amazing comparing to his previous difficulties..
The last diver is so handsome and he's so cool as he made it to top 3. He really gave his all during the last round to execute well and ensure the title.
@Cameron VA He is Chen Ai Sen, whom won gold in Rio 2016 in this event. Here + in Tokyo he was sustaining a shoulder injury. I look forward to him winning gold again in Paris 2024.
Like there is so much perfection it's scary i know they work there buts off ! To me they are all winners i can barely swim and to see this I'm like SHEEESHHH
That is why China's chosen representatives are top tier and always score high in international competition, their national competition is already strict as hell, and the judges are extremely strict in scoring them even with perfect dives. And yet the top 3 still managed to score more than 500 points. China's representatives are not just skillful, but they have to be consistent in every competition to secure their spot and place, just one mistake will cost them big price to pay. That is why I believe that if you send 3 divers to olympics, they literally will claim all the 3 medals.
@@fyyh8111 Beauty - my friend, is something that is in the eye of the _beholder,_ so, I'd advise you to not go around lecturing people _what_ beauty is or is not [unless you've got some 'personal issue' you're worried about]! . . . 😉
@@ObeluStrawberry there are actually 3 official selection events + a few other mini competitions that they consider for olympic qualification Chen Aisen consistently ranks around 3-4, but China can only send top 2
By diving order 1. Wang Feilong 王飞龙 - 13 years old. Still very young. Here to gain experience. 2. Tai Xiaohu 台晓虎 3. Yang Ling 杨凌 4. Bai Yuming 白钰鸣 - Another very young competitor. 5. Wu Luxian 吴鲁贤 6. Li Zheng 李政 7. Zhu Han 朱涵 8. Huang Bowen 黄博文 9. Huang Zigan 黄子淦 10. Lian Junjie 练俊杰 - His physique gives him an advantage in having elegant form, but needs to improve on the consistency of his timing and water entry. In pretty good form. 11. Yang Jian 杨健 - Best overall performer. China's greatest chance at an Olympic gold for Tokyo 2020 12. Chen Aisen 陈艾森 - He has very beautiful and elegant form, super tight pikes etc. But didn't do well in the water entry and lost some points. Not on form.
@@HolyEnchanta I wonder why only Yang Jian competing in this competition? How about the one winning gold in Tokyo? How he got qualified to Olympic Tokyo?
@@mohamadsofiabuhassan5819 This was not the only selection competition! There were 3 offical selection competitions + a few other small events that were also considered for olympic qualification so I guess cao yuan did well there
@@ziweihe1465 The year that China showed off to the world in the form of the Olympics, a future Olympic diver (from China) just happened to be born. Potentially participating in the next Olympics to be held in Asia. How awesome is that?
Oops, sorry I just read some of the comments. Lin Yue is one of the commentators & is "hard to please" 🤣😂😁. Good to know he's still very active in supporting this young athletes.
The coaches are like tiger moms in the West when their kid gets an A- or 90% grade.... "what happened? You need to study harder so you can achieve top marks. If you don't pull your grades up next semester I will be too ashamed to be your mother" lol. Obviously I'm exaggerating a bit. This is why in Toronto about 10 years ago a young woman by the name of Jennifer Pan hired people to kill her parents. Both of them shot but she messed up by talking to the hired robbers without realising the father wasn't dead yet and miraculously survived with a bullet in the head to testify and send her to jail.

@@siewbengwee4530 thank you. That's all I was trying to illustrate with my anology. It's the strereotype of foreign born Asians, that is why I was careful and specified "like tiger moms in the West" I'm not one those who is ashamed of my ethnicity and have no problem defending the motherland of any hypocritical and false accusation in personal conversations and online.
