Welp, I aint no Remmi Warren- and solo filming is harder than it looks... but here's a recap of my 2021 archery deer hunt in the high country of western Colorado. #backcountry #bowhunt #deer
Beautiful video, better than most I’ve seen. Can tell you really enjoy it out there and that’s what comes across, refreshing to see a hunting video that actually reflects what hunting is all about
I've archery hunted for many years and I still can't judge distance. I've excepted that I can't and just got a really good range finder. If I'm in a spot waiting for an animal, I range diff objects and memorize the distances. If I'm stalking I don't shoot until I for sure know the distance. I'd rather not guess because I could wound or spook an animal. So far it's worked and I've shot some nice bucks and bulls, but it's a handicap you learn to hunt with. Great video!
I enjoyed the video & know you had a great time! But i'm gonna be nosy, was this the early season high country(wilderness areas) buck tag(i don't really know much about archery tags) & if it's not a secret, what unit are you hunting?
Nice work. Great video. Get a good range finder and practice with it A LOT. You will for sure have success in the future. Best of luck. Hit me up if you want some more tips.
