Sorry for not posting lately, between work and home life its been a crazy few weeks but In this video i remove and replace a cylinder head on a 2021 CR-V with 8,000 miles! This vehicle got towed in for a hard missfire. Upon starting engine could tell the engine had lost compression on at least 1 cylinder. Compression test confirmed Cyl 1 had 0 compression all the rest were fine. Using a borescope found a foreign object jammed between the intake valve and the head. Removed cylinder head found foreign object was a piece of molded plastic most likely from the intake manifold that was in there since installed from factory and finally made its way into the combustion chamber and lodging inbetween the valve and the head. Never seen anything like this before and probably wont ever again. If you guys make it to the end of the video i really appreciate it!
