Hello Thomas and James, I am from India and almost none of the cars that feature on your channel are available on road for us people here but I still love watching your videos because of two reas... No three... No fo... No! A lot of reasons and the greatest of them being the chemistry between the both of you. I usually see a lot of comments saying you guys are the closest thing that comes to the top gear of old but here in India we never got to see top gear or any other well renowned car review programs while growing up. I just want you two to know that for people like me, you two and this channel will be the scale at which we measure car enthusiasts channels forever! I just bought a 2021 Durango hellcat today. Traded in my 2020 widebody scat pack. Why? I want a hellcat, but I daily it with 3 kids everyday. I also make 3 hour trips to Arizona with the wife and kids every month. If anyone has squeezed 3 kids in the back and had to drive a distance, it’s just too tight for everyone. This Durango hellcat makes sense. Has all the hellcat stuff, but is larger and roomier for those needs

I think you hit the nail on the head. Many performance utilities try to be sports cars but of course they are limited by the fact that physics prevents them from being full sports cars. Dodge instead made the dumbest thing they could and as such, it ranks supreme.

THE BEST INTRO... EVER!!

I have a 2013 Durango with a stock 3.6 engine and it's really fun to drive.

I can’t see how it’s worth $30k more than the other (non-Hellcat) supercharged V8 super-SUV on the market, the F-Pace SVR. Not noticeably quicker other than the launch and the ‘21 facelift F-Pace now has a market topping interior. And if you want a louder supercharger whine, there’s a $300 intake available from Mina. Exhaust is just as gnarly too. The Dodge will always win the drag race but I’ll take my shouty V8 Jag for $100-108k CAD (depending on which colour you want :p).

I already own a 2018 R/T with the graphite color and would've easily upgraded it with an SRT or the hellcat but I don't understand why Dogde decided to make them a 6 seater and not 7 like the R/T. It make a big difference for me as I have a big family.

You guys have to pay more for Durango Hellcats, but we have to pay more for basically everything else. My current pet peeve is the TT RS; you guys pay ~ USD 8000 less than we do for one with all the options that matter. A loaded TT RS for you is only about USD 3000 more than a loaded RS3 for you guys, where for us it's about USD 11000 more. Cripes!

I agree... “super” SUV’s are dumb. I love the Durango, actually. If I were in the market for an SUV, it would be the first one I’d want to look at, but if I were going to buy an SUV, it would HAVE to have a capable four-wheel-drive system, NOT all-wheel-drive.
