Tim, thank you for the detailed review. Down to biz, no BS and very relatable. Thank you for the support and we look forward to working with you in the near future. We hope that you enjoy your custom Sill Guards by FI.
Tim, There are a ton of videos on how to install these vinyl step protectors. After watching about 30 of them, I decided to use your technique to install my protectors on a new Dodge Durango R/T. This technique is the best one of all. Easy and accurate. Thanks for posting.
Glad I could help! Credit goes to the guys at Fast Intentions, I just followed their instructions. PS: I am also a Durango owner (2015) although just a Limited, not an R/T, I wish! Unfortunately, that is my next big project. At least one of the valve rockers has gone bad and I have the dreaded TICK TICK TICK so I am going to tear the 3.6L apart and replace them all on one side. Fortunately I found a really good YT video that details the process, so I will probably be tackling that soon...maybe this weekend.
Subtle trade mark. LOL. That’s actually their logo branded in the hip of the Bronco. East coast people. Not serious about my regional rivalry. Having some fun. These look like great sill guards. Love the channel.
Ya what I really meant is that some aftermarket manufactures put their logo or mark in HUGE letters on their products, and it some cases it looks really dumb to me. These guys at least made it tiny.
Thanks for the sub! Full disclosure: I purchased the guards, but in exchange for the video they did the customization for no additional charge. That said here is my honest review: they are very high quality, have held up well, and the team at Fast Intentions was very good to work with.
I do recommend this brand if you do, they are thick and feel like they will last a long time. There are definitely less expensive options out there, but I don't think they will last as long.
If you order a custom one with your own graphics like I did, it took about 2 weeks for it to arrive. That could probably vary a bit depending on how busy they are. My recommendation would be to call or email them if any concerns, they were very easy to work with.
Great videos, I’ll definitely be installing the 33 inch tires and aftermarket hitch. I don’t think the base bronco comes with much underbody protection, will you be adding third party skid plates?
I did get the modular front bumper and that comes with a beefy skid plate for the front end. The 2 door also has a standard steel plate for the gas tank which for whatever reason the 4 door does not. So I feel pretty good about the protection for the level of off-roading that I will be doing.
I've been looking to add door sills to my newly purchased 2dr bronco but none of them seemed like they covered the edge like those do. Ordered them right away.
@@BudgetBronco You better believe it! I sent a logo over to a friend that does ad work to change the file into one they accept. I think it's great. Saw your Budget Bronco guards on their youtube video too. My Bronco is supposed to be delivered on Tuesday. Hopefully it's not stuck in the Ice Mountain in Detroit!
HA! I did not know that mine were in their video, but just went back and re-watched it now and sure enough saw them for a split second...thanks for pointing that out. Good luck with your delivery 🤞🤞
Question, I have a bronco base model being built in two weeks after a year of waiting. I chose the manual transmission. Do you know if you can remote start the base model with a manual tranny using the ford pass app?
Your Bronco looks great. Subscribed to your channel even though I don’t own a Bronco. 😂 Definitely interested in one either Base or Black Diamond, but maybe for the 2023 model year. Looking forward to what you do with yours.
I see it there...go to the site linked here and where is says logo and horse color choose 'custom image' www.fastintentions.com/product/f-i-bronco-6g-sill-guards/
Why are these so expensive ? This can't be more than a few dollars of material. Even with the work going into cutting it, the margins on these seems crazy. Great look but def. not a budget solution.
That is a fair comment, they are not budget when compared to the $12+ Sticker Fab option, but you get a much more durable product that will do what it is designed to do. I agree this is a high margin product for them.
