2021 Ford EcoSport Review | 4WD Under $25,000 

A young person point of view. As a more mature driver, I see this vehicle in a completely different light.. I love it. I think it has plenty of power drives very nice. It drives very well and has served me extremely well these past two years. I would highly recommend it.

I drive one of these everyday and my absolute favorite feature is the cupholders on top of the engine.

US comment - I bought one in 2019. Apparently, they don't think people want cars any more. My Focus got a hell of a lot better mileage. It has been a comfortable car.

I have a 2018 EcoSport an so far I like it. It's fun to drive an the 4 wheel drive makes it easy to get around in the snow. I had a 2014 Escape that I like with the turbo charged 2.0 in it an 4 wheel drive. It was quicker that my EcoSport with the 2.0 non turbo. I don't know why Ford couldn't have put the turbo 2.0 on the EcoSport which would have made it a bottle rocket. Another thing Ford screwed up is they didn't have many upgrades to fix it into a more capable off road machine. I wanted to put a more aggressive tire on it to make it look alittle more agressive ( not talking something like 31.10 X50s ). FORD just couldn't bring theirself to bring over some of the things you could get over in India to dress it up. But other than the lack of turbo an accessorys I like mine just fine. Ford going all electric is BS.

I honestly can't get over how loaded these little cars are. If I had paid attention I would have purchased one of these... maybe next time... I always like the little cars they are fun to drive.

Know anything about the after market spare tire rack? I think one would have to reconfigure the backup camera. Worth it or more trouble then it's worth?

I hope my Gamestop shares go way over $1,000/share so I can sell them and buy a 2021 Ford Ecosport for my mom!

Driving a 2018 with the 2.0 and awd. Its been a beautiful vehicle so far.superior traction in the snow.I just came back from a long drive,and there were times during that drive i allowed the vehicle to creep up to 160km and even going that fast the ride was poised and quiet.I love my ecosport and will not be selling it for a different car probably ever.

The 2nd row seats do fold down flat but there is extra step involved.

isnt that mpg high, i would prefer something a bit more fuel economic

Love my 2021 ecosport se. 1.0 has plenty of power. Back seat is a little tight. However it's a compact suv. No spare tho. Also that's why the rear door opens the way it does. The rear spare is on the rear door in other countries.

Great review. I bought the 2021 Titanium EcoSport & I really dig it. I work from home, so I just wanted something for my girlfriend & I go to out in. I'll be cruising around Louisville and that's about it. Perfect for me 👍🏾👌🏾

My wife bought one because it was cute And affordable. Engine died at 59000 miles.

Even the regular escape has better MPG than the ecosport 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ford has some appealing SUVs in their portfolio. The EcoSport isn't one of them. Originally designed for 3rd world markets where it finds some commercial applications in crowded urban environments, it's simply a placeholder in the burgeoning subcompact SUV category. May work for Ford loyalists and fleet sales but simply not competitive otherwise.

It drive better in manual mode and it’s a fun SUV.

I own this vehicle. It’s really small so tall people this would be a pass for you. Also, no room for gadgets. Little leg room in the back. Rear facing car seats fit pretty snug on the passenger & won’t fit on the driver side. Did I mention very little room in the back seat? Essentially none.

The 2023 Ecosport will be a much better redesign. Its being redesigned into the history books...warp speed into non-existence.

MPG is not that great, it should get at least 30 , plus it rides like garbage. They are really stretching the term “Compact SUV”, we called it a GEO.. remember those? You can get much better for the same price.

This car is so out of date. It has no active safety systems at all. A Kia Seltos or Hyundai Kona are much more modern.

This is a seriously awe full car, please don’t drive without test drive first, there is no power, no space in back seats,
