Today I drive and review a 2021 Ford F-150 Limited! Ford Inventory: www.larryhmillerfordprovo.com/ My Car Build/Mod Channel: / @tronautolab Second Channel: / @thebenhardyshow Instagram: ben_hardypl Facebook: @benhardycar
@@lifegoeson05 Lol your opinion means literally nothing to me. I bought the truck and have owned several in the past and they have all treated me well.
Rams are way better than Fords. A V6 motor on turbo is like a female trying to be a Man. And the new ram limited are 70k or the RAM TRX start at 70k and go up to over 100k. FYI
Looking forward to a side-by-side comparison of this and a Limited Powerboost Hybrid to see if the extra tech (and cost) yields a real-world difference in performance and mileage.
Will be good to see a side by side comparison to the Ram 1500 Limited. I'm interested to see the comparison of the interiors since I believe Ford's new interiors match the Ram's interiors.
I love my 2019 ram laramie but if i had the money i d have one of these in the driveway as well, ford did good with this one. Ford fans have ram to thank for this update. Competition drives innovation.
Interior is gorgeous. I think that the King Ranch has typically had a nicer interior than the Limited, but not in this case. I think it is difficult to justify $80,000 for a “luxury” truck I am more of a Raptor/TRX guy, for that kind of money, but they have definitely nailed the segment of the market that wants luxury above all else.
Love this truck! My hope is that Ford rolls out the Full Size Bronco smoothly and sooner than expected. I am also looking forward to the updated Ranger.
The Limited definitely moved the bar north for the F-150 in terms of interior quality. However, we can't simply just gloss over the fact that Ford has lost their minds on pricing. This is a Limited WITHOUT Powerboost for nearly $78k. Which begs the question if Ford is cheating customers, considering the last Limited offered exclusive power(other than the Raptor). The Powerboost should have been standard.(this truck also doesn't have any of the bed inverter advantages at this price). I noticed Ben made several references to the Ram. True, this Ford has more power. But don't think for a second this interior is better. Ram also offers a Frost/Indigo interior on the Ram. In addition, for about $10k less, you will have cooled rear seats w/ recline, HUD, rear view camera, air suspension, etc. As impressive as the Ford is, they could have went further.
Foes truck is the fastest one of the bucjd and will make a ram owner think teich about going to the new way of doing things now that we see what they have on the bew truck it can be improved so far that's why I want you to know I am starting with the man in the mirrodr
@@ericlou3405 yeah the Limited is like the most craziest price tag of all f150s. They always have been and not to mention I drove one back in high school except it was a 2014. Blue with blue leather F150 Limited.
I was thinking of trading in my 2018 XLT for a New Platinum or Limited…BUT .. mine is paid off and runs perfect… I just can’t justify the crazy expense…
Why does an eighty thousand dollar truck continue to use a wire type antennae from the seventies?! The modern shark fin antennae’s get just as good reception
They are there so you know how high the truck roof is compared to the Antenna. Roof is usually 1-2 inches lower than the antenna so if you go under something you can be sure your not going to hit the truck roof.
Loran and Haden, You think Ben has to do that. EVERYONE knows Ram is the leader. Why do ya think Ford did what they did with there interior. Ford said...F#$&. Now we have to spend money and energy now to compete with such beauty. 🤣🤣
@@peterrivas08 I think there for a option which the truck can drive by itself on the highway, and these sensors make sure your looking on the road and paying attention. But don’t worry you can’t see the blinking lights in person.
The standard 3.5 EcoBoost is strong and beats GM/Chevy, and Ram in acceleration. The HO widens the gap. Wish it would've been available in my "19 Lariat.
@@loganr8184 Ford V8 in the F-150 play a small role in the sales. The v6 twin turbo EcoBoost dominate the sales in the F-150. It has more torque and power than the V8. The V8 just sounds better. And yes it is Ford plan and intention to get rid of the V8 as well as the Ecoboost V6. They are focusing on Total Electric. The hybrid version is just a gap to transition customers from gas to electric. Ford is putting consumers on notice now saying by 2030 there will be no more V8 or V6 ICE
@@myopinion7236 When i went to look at f150s there wasn't any 5.0 v8 trucks on the lot, the reason the 5.0 is outsold by the 2.7 and the 3.5 is because thats the way ford wants it to be. The sales person i talked to said that ford really pushes the eco boost trucks over the 5.0. It didn't really matter because i ended up with a ram anyway. This was in late 2019 and at the time ram had the best interior and i was coming from a 2014 ram so i was kind of a fan anyway lol. Not saying the ford is a bad truck at all.
@@the40735 You don't have to buy what they have on the lot. Buy what you want and they will get you a 5.0. Over half of Ford sells come from commercial buyers and they perfer the v6 which is a better engine as far as power than the v8. The 8 may sound good but the people and the numbers speak for themselves. Ford are #1 in the US and Canada, truck market so they don't push or force the v6, it's just a better engine. Ask GM, Ram, Tundra, Titan and Ford mighty coyote why their v8 can't out sell the Ford v6
@@myopinion7236 I told you why i didn't buy the ford, I was a ram fan that walked into a ford dealer at a time when ram had the better interior and overall the better truck anyway so that's what i bought. I just decided to check out the competition for a change. I'm not going to argue with you, I knew they could get me the truck i wanted but at the end of the day i knew going into that dealership that i probably wasn't going to change brands.
@@BenHardyCars it’s not bad it just seem more on the boring side of things especially once you see what other manufacturers are doing. But I would still take this over the previous gen
@@BigMikeRobinsonFJB You would have thought that if they pulled the HO 3.5 ecoboost, they would have made the Powerboost standard then to replace it, and not having the dual pipes, seems like a step backwards, although images of the Tremor shows that truck has dual exhaust.
I like the Limited myself but I prefer the tan interior in the Platinum over the blue in the Limited. And you can package the Platinum out with the limited upgrade.
Not a fan of Ford in general (reliability) but this one looks great! The only downside for me would be carbon fiber details, not great on Limited package more suitable for Sport/Off road package in lower trims. Limited should have wood options, perhaps dark wood instead of carbon fiber.
The limited looks good with the brushed grill and accents but the big tailgate badge with the huge limited across the tailgate and hood is a bit ostentatious for me. I don't need to brag to everyone that I just dropped 80K on a truck.
I love how you referenced "market adjustment" Speak the truth and tell everyone that you are going to add 10k to the sticker price so that someone can be the first to have one. Typical ripoff dealership. 6 months from now I can get 10 k off sticker.
Being the top of the line luxury version of f150 that fake carbon fiber trim doesn't really belong there. Now i understand why ram has a more upscale interior than the ford because they don't randomly put materials that is out of place. Don't get me wrong big fan of ford here if i were to get one king ranch is the best one.
But it's still just a Ram. The Shelby F-150s are a better truck than TRX plus 750HP. Ford always has a better option than any thing Dodge/Ram can offer.
@@BenHardyCars you get a pass for Raptor or TRX. I bought a trimmed up brand new Lariat in 2013. Couldn't believe I let them sell me on all the bells and whistles. It's like pissing money away.
I personally love this truck, but I have a feeling anyone who buys one will be judged for spending 80k on a 1/2 ton with fancy leather when you can get a 3/4 ton lariat diesel with almost every option for 72k
1st you said almost every options 2nd who's name on your pay check 3rd if you can't buy what you want with your money what are you working for 4th the same way you think people will be judged for THEIR reason for buying this truck. They also will be judged for buying a 3/4 ton lariat diesel with ALMOST every option for less. 5th somebody is going to have something to say about everything. Get out of people bundage, buy what you want and enjoy it 6 and most importantly not everyone have the same reason or goals for buying a truck
@@m.s.m3464 half tons are definitely better for daily driving. I’d probably save another 10k and get the platinum though. Not much you get in the limited that you dont get in the platinum. And ride will be better on 20” wheels instead of the 22” on limited.
Yep..but everyone is at a different position in life. If you dont own a house and you're buying a 80k truck, thats pretty stupid imo since house is #1. But to someone who owns a home, makes really good money, its reasonable.
I'm seeing so many complaints about the price. If you don't see the value in this truck or simply can't afford it then perhaps you should choose something else!
Lynn- No of course it’s not worth it to the average person.. But there is a lot of people in this country with a lot of money and they’ll snap these trucks up all day long...
Nice truck but not for $80,000 Nissan Titan Platinum Reserve is this trucks competition for about $15,000 less, and the Titan in my opinion is better in quality and reliability Plus those speakers on the front head rest, oh hell no, you're going to start having hearing problems later on down the road, :-( :-) ♤♡◇♧
Do yourself a favour and sit in a 2021 F150 Limited. There not even close when it comes to the materials used in the truck compared to the last gen. And the fit and finish is next level. I’d agree with you on the last gen trucks, they didn’t compare to Rams interiors, but these new ones are so nice I’d say they are on par with Ram now. You may not like the lay out ( which is personal preference ) but with the fit and finish , and materials used it’s a huge step forward.
@@loganr8184 due to government CAFE standards, the V8 engines already have one foot in the grave. Besides, the new white house administration wants to speed up the process and do away with all ICE engines.
This is truly the fsateds tuck ever k;made abt man and will whole th title forever baby becasue the ford is the best one but make sure you pay your car notoe baby
This still has a lot of cheap looking pieces on the interior. Seats are soft, but unsupportive. Fake fender will interfere with adding larger flares for lift kits and larger wheels. For 80k , the interior falls way short of an escalade interior which makes this look like crap.
