I can definitely see why ford made some wallpaper of this model next to fancy yachts and stuff, that's what this model's character was all based from. And you don't see very many f150 limiteds driving on the road and believe it or not this is why I always in life consider my top #1 dream truck the Ford F150 Limited because not only it's more unique than any pickup in the competitive market but also because it would still definitely be the right truck for me, and I can tell you that this is even more unique and one of a kind than a GMC Sierra Denali that's for sure, always has been. Like this truck is just the entire jewel I want for my next vehicle, even though I'm 21 years old RN.
Main Reason why I consider this my dream truck, the Ford Trucks LIMITED name always had that yacht rock vibe look by the entire design. Hell it even has them Forrest Gump vibes too, depending on what color you get.
I have the 2018 Limited in Platinum White The differences between the 2019/2020 Limited and the 2018 is the engine Horsepower. , 450 vs 375. Also the Interior Leather Color. The 2019 / 2020 has the 2 Tone Camel Back ( light tan inserts ) vs 2018 Navy Pier Solid Color which is the only Limited since 2016 that is a solid Color interior. 2016 / 2017 Interior was a 2 tone Orange & Black. IMO , the Navy Blue is the classiest.
RAM-1500 KING OF TRUCKS Recaros are fairly comfortable for being aggressive performance seats. Definitely what you want with that much power under the hood.
The finish on the grill, door handles and tailgate finish panel looks like brushed nickel. Even at this price point, hard polypropylene plastic at the forward and lower sections of the door trim panels. They should have used soft touch materials there. As for the 'leather' on the top of the door trim panels and top of dash, are you SURE it's leather? Manufacturers today are using vinyl materials that have the same look and feel and graining of leather, but at a much lower price. These materials are usually more durable than real leather as well especially at the top of the dash which gets beat up by UV rays and heat. Also, this truck is supposed to get a complete redesign for 2021. Anyone who is thinking about one of these should wait for the redesign. Supposedly, it supposed to get in interior upgrade to match the RAM along with a large center touchscreen like the one that is optional in the RAM.
In 2020 all Limited F series trucks discontinued the brown/white interior and now only offer Black/White interiors. Because this is brown, I’m a little confused as to exactly what year this is.
And it does have a sport mode BTW. It has to be 4WD, you're driving the 2WD, 2WD won't have it if there's no sport mode. I know it sounds very stupid but it's just what it is, and that's why I'd prefer the 2019 f150 limited because it did have a sport mode on any of the Limiteds 4WD or not. There's a slight difference trust me.
I have a 2019 Limited. No change from the 2020.What you refer to as lights (4) around the rear sliding window button are the proximity alarm sensors. It's a neat feature that when the alarm is on prevents anyone from sticking their arm inside the truck If you leave the windows down. My Limited msrp was $74.2k. Ram Limited peaks at $71k with the etorque, ram box and split tailgate. The new 2021 Ford F150 Limited will blow the Ram out the water. 15 in. touchscreen included for upper trims. And the dealer ordering a Ford Limited without a spray in bed liner is heresy.
This thing looks so innocent. 450hp twin turbo. Good luck catching this beast in sheep clothing with Ram, Chevy, GMC, Tundra. It beats them all. Easily. Eats all other trucks for breakfast in stock form. Yet it looks like grandpa's truck. It's a beast!!
No V8 terrible, wouldn’t buy an eco boost. Just read the reviews? Have been a Ford owner for over 40 years; looks like I will be going to Ram or Siverado
Interior is worse than my new High Country. Change my mind. You have to admit the interior is dated like Chevy. Same size touch screen, not nearly as much technology and functionality. This thing does not have as much interior storage, a weird slit in the center console. A console shifter which takes up way too much room. No heads up display. No rear view backup camera. The 360 camera system is not nearly as good. No button for power running boards. The only thing I’m jealous of is the sunroof. Otherwise it costs $15000 more than my fully loaded Chevy High Country, which was expensive as well. You are basically paying a premium for the engine in this thing.
Nice try but a Ram Limited on it's best day is at least $3k cheaper than a Ford Limited. I know this 2020 Ford Limited is just a carryover from last years Limited with no added new features but this review seemed awfully rushed.2021 is when Ford releases a redesigned Ford F150. With the new 10 inch screen.
As a retiree I work part time at a local Ford dealership and all the time I see at least two new f- 150/ month its engines being replaced and even our own technicians swear they will never own these trucks. I like the new Rams interior, I think its the best compare to Ford, GM, Toyota etc.but nothing can beat the handsome look of my 2019 GMC SIERRA DENALI...PERIOD!!!
Damn you really miss that one up I usually like your reviews. This F-150 100% definitely has the sport mode and it makes a huge difference when you drive it and it will be faster than the raptor. Because the raptor has bigger tires. I can't believe you didn't figure that out it's got tow mode of course and the other modes how do you miss that that's beyond me oh well.
I don't care how much HP it has it still sounds like crap....plus why say it's not as quick as a Raptor when you didn't even come close to flooring the thing it does help if you push the go peddle you know....BORING review.
Ford is crap. Everything is cheap plasticky crap, and the infotainment and dash system software design looks like it was ripped out of a 90's Palm Pilot. Laughable at best. The RAM interior and even the GMC Denali interior is miles better. Nothing touches the RAM interior though
Over priced junk all three!!!! Tesla Cybertruck won't rust out in five years like all this junk and it's not built by affirmative action hires that come to work stoned, drunk and sleep on the job! The fake tough look of this Union built scrap is just Crome plated plastic made in Mexico! The big three are a joke and are going the way of the dinosaur!👍 Maybe the Union slackers can strike for more nap time!!
Wrong comparison. The Ram Limited is on par with the F150 Platinum, not the Limited. Ram does not offer the High Output engine the Limited has, which is what sets the Limited apart from the Platinum. My Platinum has every option the Limited has minus the badging. The leather quality is the same, the interior trim is the same, just grained differently. The wheels are useless for Truck things on the Limited, so I won't even count them. The three differences between Limited and Platinum, Engine, Wheels, and badging. Ram Limited is a more direct comparison to Platinum, especially in the price range.
@guy proulx no that doesnt mean they use the best quality beef, The rolls royce phantom would prob use the best quality material and they arent the #1 seller arent they. maybe thats because of the price. so maybe your big mac sells alot due to taste, price and dont have to get out of car. maybe the ftruck sells alot due to, they can tow more, they are faster(raptor motor) and personally i think they look better than the other trucks. you tell me
@guy proulx It out-sells the others because it's better. It doesn't matter how you look at it. I like Rams but I wouldn't buy one anymore due to the terrible reliability. And Chevys interiors are just really bad when compared to others. Thats why it out-sells the others.
guy proulx You raise good points my friend. I just feel pound for pound, it is the best American truck. I believe that is the reason it outsells. This is coming from a Dodge fan. There has to be a reason those businesses you mentioned are buying fleets of Fords and not Chevys or Rams. I don’t know for sure, but that’s what I think.
guy proulx Yeah I said Ford was the best American truck. No question Tundra is more reliable it’s a Toyota, automobiles don’t get more reliable then Toyota. But yeah a lot of Americans want an American brand truck, I feel the same to be honest. There’s just something so appealing about an American truck I don’t know why 🤷🏻
Was that a 7.3 Powerstroke idieing in the background? Sweet truck! I've always liked the look of the Limited. Kinda wish they would offer more engines, but then it wouldn't really be Limited....
Good information, thanks for the review. Obviously, these fully loaded trucks aren't the extreme tow rigs compared to the versions the manufacturer claims in advertising and promotional material. By chance, did you happen to document the payload for this configuration, for comparison? Keep up the good work!
rockn rolla spot on, I went to a Dodge dealership yesterday, they had a Longhorn edition 1500, the window sticker was 60k, Lol, and was on SALE for Black Friday at 48k, same crap, make the consumer feel like they are getting a great deal. AIENT fooling me!! I don’t care what any financial RU-vid advisor says, CASH IS KING, know why, show them the money, when they won’t give you a fair deal, you walk, all while waving your money and smiling. I’ve done this many times, I don’t let want and emotions play into my decision making. Trust me, go to enough dealerships and someone will take your money with your offer.
Ford F-250 6.7 Super wrong, the dealership still gets their money whether you have loan or cash, at the end of the day you take the loan out to cash out the dealer so you owe the bank not the dealer so the dealer don’t care if you pay cash or get a loan cause they still get their money. This isnt 1995 dude.
You're a fool if you think 40k is too expensive when there are vehicles much more expensive. Even with them being "high quality", no matter how high quality it may be, a $100k+ luxury car is too much.
In your video I believe you said the limited does not have a sport mode. I do own a 2019 limited and it does have sport mode which you can toggle on the gear shift. Believe me this makes the truck into a beast off the line just like the Raptor! Love your videos and keep them coming!
Don’t believe the truck was placed in sport mode during the test drive. If it would have been, the engine would have come to life. Added a Roush cold air system and really woke up the engine. These trucks get down the road and in a hurry. I do agree that the 22’s make the truck feel jittery and the 8 inch screen is dated. Overall, I give the new raptor engine F150 high marks in performance, interior comfort and quietness. I was able to get 20% off MSRP on a 2019. Good luck if you’re in the market for a new F150.
Controversial opinion but I actually like GM interiors better than Ford interiors. I have been in and out of both. They are both just a bunch of plastic leather and vinyl but from a design point I enjoy the Denali's over the platinum and limited f150.
I have the 2019 Limited and this looks identical. Can you please list all the changes from 2019? Also the Limited is known to change interior leather colour every year so why is this identical leather to 2019? Still no wireless cellphone charger?
It’s been the same color since the 2017 refresh. No real changes accept for the colors, Rapid Red. Next few years though Limited and Raptor are supposed to be getting rear coil springs.
@@bkkersey93 Look at all the prayers that have gone unfulfilled now that gods favorite President has been kicked out of the White House . The Jesus freaks thought he was their savior but prayers did not save the pussy grabber .
“They’re not gonna make you pay for a Bedliner if you don’t want” simply means they cheaped out and didn’t want to include it on this expensive ass truck
Greed, and an industry that preys on people by financing them for long terms under the guise of a lower monthly payment. Don't fall for it, you are still overpaying for these vehicles and you are slave to the auto industry.
Jeff .. I agree it’s important, but they prey on people by offering 72 or 84 month financing making people believe they can actually afford a vehicle they can’t. If you can’t pay for it, or finance it for 3 years, it’s too expensive and you should save up for it. Its basic personal finance that is lost today and the auto industry preys on that.
Jeff .. it doesn’t matter. 50 grand is not 50 grand if it takes you 6 years to pay it back. Everyone should strive for a down payment that allows them to finance a vehicle responsibly. People can do what they want, but I don’t like being a slave to any lender
@@Metal_Stacking .. You are not if it is 0%, that is totally different. Typically though if you are offered 0% financing you are paying full sticker price. Most dealers won't negotiate the price if they give you that option. The average car payment is $500 a month and 0% financing is very rare. 3-6% is a typical vehicle loan, higher with poor credit. Interest adds up big time over 72 months.
Downloading to watch later. Been waiting for this vid 😊. Only thing I was Ford would do is change their dash design. Bigger screen. Less little plastic buttons. Less cheap plastic inside. Even the steering wheel and cluster bores me to an extent. It just looks outdated. Rams interior to me is top notch. I'd love to grab one of these in 2022 when I'm ready again. Small lift. Little bigger tires. Tune. Intake. But I'll wait and see if they freshen up the interior in the next few years.
No the GM trucks look dated lmo. Ram just took their game up to 12, Raptor is still the most badass though. Why not just get that? It’s already lifted and you get the full color options.
You are totally right, corporate greed and an industry that thrives on people going into debt to buy a vehicle. They make most of their money on financing people to death. Anyone who finances a vehicle for more than a few years is a slave to the auto industry.
A Conneely .. you honestly think these trucks are affordable for most people. Yes there is a range but most start over 40k. I’m fine I make a six figure income, but the auto industry is still out of control. The average American has very little in savings, does not save enough for retirement etc., but they are making payments for 84 months thinking they can afford these vehicles. It’s part personal responsibility and part greed on the part of the auto industry.
my ex truck ben,the paint is called tri coat platinum and that finish is called brushed aluminum and the truck does have sport mode ..the truck is a beast compared to my Ram Limited but had to trade it in because it had major issues of burning oil and didn't like the lag from the sync3 and a few rattles i didn't like as well but other than that it was a beast ..both trucks are great .
I don't use my truck for street tracing or track racing. Prefer long-term reliability and 'adequate' power. Most Ford service techs would probably prefer the 5.0L V8...
Doesn't matter if it's Ford or ram as long as it is American brand you are God dam good American and I want to shake your hand . MAGA 2020 THANK YOUR MR PRESIDENT

I do like that Ford is giving gobs of power and class-exclusive features for the money(seat massage, most torque, trailer back up). Ford found a way to make the F150 stay relevant against the Ram/GM. That said, a Ram Limited tops out at roughly $68k, which with less power it is somewhat understandable, but the Limited's air-suspension, better interior, etc makes a strong argument. It comes down to preference at this point. I'd buy a $75k Raptor before I bought the F150(better resale and macho af!)
I dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot my password. I love any tricks you can offer me.
@Sebastian Angelo Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Sebastian Angelo DAMN IT REALLY WORKED! Literally hacked my instagram login within about 30 mins by using the site. Had to pay 15 $ but for sure worth it :) Thank you so much, you really help me out!
6:32, That's what she said..... I'll show myself out. Though this truck is an older generation compared to the Ram and GM competitors, i think the interior still beats GM's...
