Quick video of raw audio capture while riding down the road and playing music from the local Denver FM station. There is no included speaking audio so the viewer can ascertain the audio quality of the 2021 Goldwing DCT Tour stereo system.

I find the speakers adequate enough to satisfy me , although, I do wish it had more "low end depth". I generally have my volume between 15-20. It seems on the highway, anything over 20 I just cant tell the difference in volume. Definetly some beautiful scenery in this vid!!!

I will have to try mine around town. On the highway I have always used my headset speakers.

Yea.. that was local FM. I haven’t activated the satellite radio.

Pleased with the audio on my 2022 DCT tour. I cleanly hear my music on the highway with my modular helmet fully closed. So happy with this bike, so fun to drive very smooth. AM/FM reception sucks though ! I may try to add an antenna in the future.

Right on Buster Brown and congratulations on your 2022! What is your typical listening volume for your external speakers? I prefer volume 16 for most conditions.. mainly because that level does not seem to blast folks around me when I come to a stop in an intersection. Ride Safe!

Superior to my 2018 DCT Tourer. The problem with FM being weak is the lousy hidden antenna. I liked the reception on the last generation wing. The system went to hell on the 6th generation wing. But, the 45watt speakers are an improvement from the 25watt on my 18. If only Honda would put in a true touchscreen and make this bike big again.

Hey Back Roads! Solid point on the FM antenna.. I typically keep a few records downloaded on my iPhone and use that when Im far out or town.. Thanks for the comment!

I ride and blog aboard a 2018 DCT and upgraded the 25watt speakers to the 55 watt per speaker upgrade available from Honda. Not sure why the 2022 came with 45 watt speakers. Here’s a link to video upgrade. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M-kffiFYFtg.html

i have a 21 i think the reception stinks and i live in NY metro area. i never use anymore plus i have found the gps freezes up at times and is difficult to enter info . i use phone for everything bluetooth c'mon Honda get it together

I agree.. the FM receiver isnt the best.. if you listen you can hear me lose FM in the tunnel.. not totally uncommon though.. Thanks for the comment David!

I own 2020 Tour and I am disappointed with the poor sound. Radio and GPS are poooooor. I never use mine. I listen to Amazon Music via my phone with a Bluetooth transmitter. Even with the base on, it’s still just OKKK. I hope 23 model, Honda will wake up. Other than that, the bike is magical !!!!!!! Just superb!

Hey AI! The 2021 upgraded the 25 watt to 45 watt speakers on the GW. I think the upgrade has helped the external speaker performance. Speakers can be like Jello.. there’s always room for more. Thanks for the comment and ride safe!

@@MileHighAdventures Nice riding area, BTW. Great for any Wing. Enjoy the bike. I hear some rumors that the 24 model will have better goodies all around.
