Our 14th Annual Great Knitting Giveaway was a success, despite continuing to look a little different due to the pandemic. Although we weren’t able to have a large gathering with all of our knitters like normal, we were happy to invite our seven local charities to receive the over 4,000 handmade items donated from over 100 GEF knitters. These items included hats, mitts, scarves, blankets, sweaters and slippers. We are so grateful for our residents and tenants and our local charities who continue to spread the love and warmth to their clients, now that the cold Edmonton winter is upon us.
