I think that sounds about right. Already added Custom Dynamics to fix the anemic rear lighting. Also dropped fairing 2”. Next is a fat tire front and then I’m tapping out

Agreed on the stereo man- I bout a custom build 2021 where the builder put a 124 in it and restyled it and a 21 inch fat tire (love the feel) the thing is they put a monster stereo in it. I loved the bike the attention to detail was amazing. I pulled the stereo out. adds unnecessary weight and I think it looks a bit ridiculous when dudes are in the city or open road with stereo blaring. If you ever see a dude at a light in a big city with stereo blasting no one is going wow how cool they are either laughing or giving the WTF is wrong with him look.

As bad as the stock bars are, the stock shield is worse.

Stock bars are very comfy to me, I just don’t like how they look. I have Factory 47 12” “meat hook” bars on my 17 RGS. Good thing about the Road Glide over the Street Glide is the bar change is really easy to do yourself.

At $30k, you shouldn't have to change nothing.

The new bikes only have a top closable vent. The two big ones do not close.

I have a 2019 Road glide standard… Closing with vents only drives the wind up over the faring and directly on your head. I suppose with a taller windshield, it’s not an issue.

Just curious… What did you put on yours for a suspension?

That’s not true, it’s $1,600.00 more for the RG Limited; which still isn’t a bad deal.

I saw that- I had a different reaction- I thought that is how you ride- It will happen and if you get angry etc etc you aren't taking action which in the case was to simply slow down a little bit and everything is cool. You see guys on channels revving their motor flipping people off, knocking off mirrors etc. Just slow down a bit avoid the wreck. Go about the day.

I’ve been saying momo shocks for the longest and I don’t understand why they haven’t yet. I guess we would have to wait for them to to change the frames again in order to do that

@@Marvelkid87 supposedly there was talk of streamlining processes a few years back and they planned to utilize one frame for both touring and softails. I got excited when i seen the monoshock softails and the modular design and i thought, soon we wll finally have monoshock touring bikes. But i guess i was wrong. Hopefully they will still come out with them but with dwindling sales i could easily see them deciding to just stick with what they have now and try to just milk it. Ironically i went from softails to touring bikes to get the better suspension, but then i rode a monoshock m8 softail and it was a game changer. If they don't come out with a monoshock touring bike soon i will probably just buy a used softail and call it quits on buying anything else. I won't buy an Indian, but I've test ridden them and they ride great, plus you feel like you're sitting down in it like a softail. If i had to guess, i bet harley never switches to mono touring, and I'll end up back on a softail. An m8 monoshock softail

No LED turn signals either. That’s another $220.00 add-on. That’s why they give you a 200-page parts book with the bike…haha💵💵💵💵

@@gghostrrider No. My wife is a regular passenger for many many years and knows her stuff. And she is 100% correct. I don't argue against facts. And if you read my comments on Mat Laidlaw's channel (and others) over the years I've been saying the same thing. The stock back seat on my FXLR is good for 5 minutes for a passenger before it is uncomfortable - it also leans backwards making it impossible for the passenger. Just a joke and the joke is on us, the owners/ customers . Again, the 2021 Streetbob is released now for 2 up riding. So what does HD do? Puts a pussy-pad on for a passenger seat. Just garbage! Form over function.

@@nevillegreg1 I guess the part I disagree with is that the RG/SG bikes are made for 2up riding from the factory. Slammed rear ends, short screens and sloped passenger seats aren’t made for two up touring, but it doesn’t mean the bike isn’t a touring bike. If you wanted a 2up touring Harley get a limited or a Goldwing or a Road Master, but I don’t get the issues you seem to have with the RG/SG.

Anybody that knows anything about Harleys and buying a new one knows that there seats suck as well as the suspension, I mean they are rideable but if you're going to go to touring you definitely want to upgrade, I know it's bullshit after spending 30k it should come with premium stuff, Harley knows it that's why they put that shit on em, they just hope you buy the new shift from them, if you're going to do it Go aftermarket screw Harley.
