I want to say to you and Michelle, thank you ever so much for showing us all the different rv's out there at the show. It was funny when Michelle thought she broke the drawer for the ironing board in the 5th wheel and she walked out.😂
They are nice to have. However it’s kinda nice to get several loads done in about an hour & half in the laundry at the campgrounds. Pros & cons to both.
Boy oh Boy. I think we are in love with the Van that had the movable wall in the restroom. Who ever designed this was thinking. Hope you guys are doing well.
We would love to downsize to a sprinter. But with our line o work we would never fit. I have a 200lb industrial embroidery and sewing machines, and 3d printers going constantly in our current RV
@@LivinRVisionit is BEASTmode lol we do costume and props for comic, anime and furry conventions. Soon we hope to be doing Horror and hopefully big tent event in Arizona, but I doubt this year we will make it west. Waiting for conventions to go back to normal and finish our commissions till we get back on the road from base camp out east

We live part time in our Leisure Travel Vans FX. We just love it. Two living areas, each with desk. Mine is in the back and slides out from under the L shaped couch. Hubby converts the couch up front to a dinette and he works there. The front couch is also a chaise lounge, has two slide out ottoman. And there’s King a Murphy bed which we adore. No bed taking up valuable daytime space. It’s easier to drive than our truck at our sticks and bricks. We will never go back to towing again. Set up in about 2 minutes. And we fit everywhere!

Class B back to towing another vehicle stay with what you have seems to work the best so far. With a B you have to think about the places you go with the truck when visiting a area.
JFLovely17, appreciate your input. 1) We understand fully what it would mean. The reason people choose a Class B IS because of thinking of the places where they could go along with other important factors that may not be the same as yours or others. We couldn’t sit here and tell you nor anyone else what is best for them, because only you would know all the details of what’s important to you. 2) The whole Class B thing has been a back and fourth comical banter thing between us for quite some time and has been in a few of our videos over the past, almost 3 years now. What we have now HAS been working well for us, with that being said, we also have other wishes and wants that we may decide to work towards as we travel. Only you know what’s right for you regardless of what others may tell you. You have to think of all things involved, including some things that may be personal which may not want to be shared also. Automatic assumptions should never be made for someone else. That being said, we truly appreciate your feedback.👍🏻😊🤓

We did, we had “media passes”. We just stood in the line the one day just to give an example. Great advice for everyone though, thank you! We didn’t realize that worked for others also. The person directing people the first few days was telling people that were vendors and media only to bypass the line. Maybe they changed that on the weekends?

Such moveable bathroom walls have been in the RV market ( esp. Vans) in Germany for years. The international exchange of ideas works well. Wait for Thetford's new INDUS technology.
@@LivinRVision We retired here because it was so much less expensive than Orange County. We have a small condo for the winter and then spend the summer months traveling in our Class B Era.
That’s what we would have to do also, if a good enough deal comes along sometime. When we look at prices, we compare to where we used to live… Des Moines, Iowa prices would be much cheaper than Orange County or PS. We have also thought about other areas in the west also for a place to come back to once in a while.
Currently you can drop your camper at a campground and hook up power, water, etc then jump in truck and go. If you go drown to a van you will have unhook water power etc Everytime you go somewhere and then hook everything again when you get back which maybe more work than the Airstream. Also I loved the part when you noticed the poor wood quality in the other brand camper now you have an Airstream.

Liked the bathroom on the one that folds in! But you do NOT want a canvas top that goes up. We had a truck camper that had that and it was like being a tent. You could hear everything outside we sold it after two camping trips. Just FYI.
We understand, but that was just an extra sleeping space on the roof that with us…would only get used with the grandkids for the most part and usually once a year for a couple nights. There is a bed in the back that the couch transforms into. But yes, it would be like a tent up there lol 👍🏻😊🤓
Funny, but the wife and I were on our way to look at buying the Lance Trailer you were in and the Lance Dealer was closed. That is when we headed over to Airstream and found our 25 Foot RB. It was used at a local show so they made us an offer we couldn't refuse. If that Lance Dealer had been opened I would have probably bought it. It was a nice trailer for sure.
That’s wild about the show prices. In western Canada you usually find some great show prices at these events. Unless it is something brand new, the discounts range from just a few thousand $ to 1/2 price.

Thanks for your video. You are right, these vans are too pricey, also when I compare them with our European/German brands. I will keep my "elderly" van. “Elderly” van 😂 Prices are pretty crazy but we could see how some of them, especially the Grech vans would be less headaches. The Grech are built very well but they come with a hefty price. If you have the money and want the best, they are a good option. Otherwise, we liked the Winnebago Ekko…at least from what we seen at this show. Leisure travel vans are built well too. If you need some help with making room, we’ll take the Porsche and Yacht off your hands. 🤪
So far we don’t see a change coming, but you never know. If the right floor plan came out and it was the right situation, then we may be “enticed”. Until then, we’re really enjoying our Airstream. 👍🏻😊🤓

What was the first van you looked at? A campervan would be great for me but it’s just me & my 4 lb dog. Don’t think a van would work for you two especially working & living in it full time. Love your airstream! You guys are famous! Fun watching you meeting your fans! Thanks for sharing!

Before Hymer, Canada went bankrupt; class Bs were below $82K. Now, Storyteller asks for over $150K and comes with a portable potty. What's the difference if I drive my SUV and roof tent with the same potty? It would be $100K cheaper. What's wrong in our society?
The vans are cool but "for me" I just don't see them as a full time RV. IE if you're staying in a park for a week or two you'd have to unhook to go get groceries or to go sightseeing. With the trailers you always have your truck available on non-travel days.
Yes, just like all RVs they all have their pros and cons. It all depends on what is important for the person/people looking. Some people want the simplicity, more places you can go and find overnight/dry camping spots. Some people like how they can still use it for their vehicle to get around and they still have everything with them. Clothes, food, everything. It all boils down to what is important to you because you are the only one that knows. 👍🏻😊🤓
I've always had the Super B/Class C bug ever since we've started traveling and I have had to listen to him gripe and moan about driving our larger Class A Diesel Pusher!! But I don't know if we would 😕 really have enough room?!
People talk about the room in an Airstream also, but when you don’t have to use the bed of your truck for a fifth wheel hitch, that bed with a topper cap and bedslide and even some shelving, really turns yours storage into quite a bit more. I Personally LOVED driving our Class A. That’s probably the only thing I miss about it though. Our bathroom now is bigger our TV area is more usable for us without turning our heads sideways, Michelle’s desk is much bigger and nicer for her, we don’t have the worries of slides or auto levelers getting stuck and overall, way less maintenance. The Class B/B+ has its benefits for certain needs. If you want to get a home base and want to break up your travels and just have that one vehicle, it would be handy and allow you to get into some areas that you just can’t get into with a bigger rig. Many more overnight stay choices as well. You just need to listen to you and your hubby’s wants and needs and do what feels right to you. The thing about RVs is not a single one of them are “perfect” for everyone. Right? 👍🏻🧡😊🤓
Is it? 😂 Right now for us, the perfect set up isn’t the Class A though. That’s why we sold ours. We are still really liking our Airstream model. Remember, our situation and needs are different than some. I have hinted about a Class B with Michelle for quite some time through a few videos over the last, almost 3 years now. Someday we may change our minds when/if our situation changes, but for now, we did the right thing for us and our situation. We understand that what’s right for us may not be right for someone else. 👍🏻😊🤓

I’m noticing the kitchen sink drain is flat rather than depressed to hold a little basket to hold food scraps. The bathroom drain is also flat so I can not put a drain hair catcher in it. Any tips in this department? Thanks

Thanks! Yes, they were not mandatory to wear. I think it’s because some “experts” say they help and some “experts” say they don’t help some even say that they are unhealthy. So we don’t ever comment to anyone about it because it’s their own beliefs and decision. Each side says they have “proof” so like anything else in life, we all have to make our own decisions. We had some followers that came to the meet & greet with masks also but not many and still, nobody made any comments. It’s a very tough time for many. Some of us have other health issues that wearing a mask makes that health issue worse. That’s something that hardly ever gets mentioned and is personal. A very good reason to never pass judgment. That being said, we sure hope this virus goes away very soon! 👍🏻😊🤓

Thank you! It was dream of mine ever since I was very young. The older I got the more of a vision it became and the more I started to see “what could be”. We wasn’t rich by any means and simply just took a leap of faith to live our lives to their fullest while we are still healthy. I had two jobs that I was able to work together. A Project Specialist with FEMA and then when I came back home I would utilize my Real Estate license.
😂 We always tell the truth and have ZERO reason to hide a single thing. That wouldn’t help anyone and we have no reason to lie…it wouldn’t benefit us a bit. If you are referring to the Class A, that was a joke because IF we were in the situation to own a Class A that expensive, then we wouldn’t need to work anymore, therefore we would enjoy the Class A like that. That was more like a Vegas condo! 😂 Anyway, we are loving OUR Airstream because of it’s floor plan and all the stresses it relieved is from. Truth, nothing but the truth. 👍🏻😊🤓

Now you can see why we mentioned “this would be the life”… if we could afford $731,000 then we probably wouldn’t need to work anymore and we could then enjoy a Class A again…especially that one! LOL that was a fancy condo, not an RV! 😂
😂 Uh oh, someone didn’t watch the video! 😂🤪 jk. It was because Truma didn’t replace the “FLOW” tank when they replaced the Alde system when we were there in the Spring. I tried to get them to when we were there because I figured the previous owners likely never released the air cushion. So I was afraid the FLOW was compromised also. Sure enough, it started leaking. Nothing was wrong with the new system they installed. The FLOW is separate from the system. The Alde system can run with or without the FLOW, but it is what turns the system into continuous hot water.
