I use this truck for LTL freight it’s a beast. While everyone is breaking down I’m still trucking on a normal day I move around 20-40,000 lbs and it’s never left me I’ve put over 150,000 miles and just kept up with oil changes and protective maintenance. Best looking truck in my opinion but I’ve realized that freight liner is best for owner operators. More mechanics can work on them and delete codes without the fancy hino computer.
Hey hino gino, I own one of these as a flatbed tow truck. The coolant sensor keeps going off and has an ear piercing alarm that doesn’t shut off. Any fix for this ? The dealership has replaced the sensor 4 times already and it keeps malfunctioning.. extremely annoying and quite frankly un-drivable. Help please !
2014 was the last build year of the japanese electrical hino trucks. 2015 build years and newer have Major electrical changes made the trucks leave you on the side of the road. Vs older trucks gives you limp mode on 98% of failures. Experience speaking...
I Drive a 2020 338, so I just missed the refresh. I hate that the cruise control is on the dash , nice that they moved it to the wheel where it should be. Wish Hino had a smart radar assisted cruise control like Volvo does . Would make a world of difference 🤷♂️
Yea this truck left me and my helper stranded. Had to get it towed cuz the transmission went out. We were still on the job. Lost thousands of dollars cuz of this truck left us stranded.
@@irfank03 it ain't my freaking truck it's a company truck and I wasn't driving it it was my supervisor who was driving it I was in the passenger seat. that's all he owns is if he know I don't even know what the hell that is. but he has three of them and they all have transmission issues.
@@irfank03 so before you say something stupid like that shut your mouth and listen to what I just said because I was there and I know what the truck looks like it looks exactly the truck said Hino. We ended up using a damn ford usual truck to get the job done.
@@moshecohen6792 yeah I agree the truck I was in was full and it had a maximum of 10,000 pounds and it couldn't even handle it. The damn transmission fucked up on us in the middle of heading out. the customer was so mad but it wasn't my fault. I wasn't even driving it I was just helping the driver load the truck he was the one who was driving.
