Have you ever tried 16/39 final drive on your 21 ZX 10?? It should be the same top speed because of smaller sprocket in the front your bike should accelerate faster
final drive is only a small part of the drivetrain. you need to factor in primary drive, gear ratio and final drive to get total reduction and on top of that stack power. a shorter final drive will give a bike faster acceleration compared to itself on a longer drive, not compared to another bike, especially a more powerful bike.
Motorcycle Mall is a joke!!!! They worked on my 690, they replaced my coolant with water, fucked up the gasket when doing the valves, if they even did them and they put the wrong oil in it!! My bike was over heating, leaking oil, and running like shit. I call them the tech claims responsibility....the GM calls and blames me! Says it's my fault because I do wheelies!! Lol so they didn't cover it! But I got my money back so F them. An that GM! That place is a joke. And I hope it goes out of business. The worst part is I'm not the only one! They break people's bikes and blame the owner it's well known
