Make your Monkey YOUR MONKEY. No Fabrication Skills? Cool, we all started someplace. Start small. Watch YT Videos on "how to" do tasks you have no experience with. I have found the my SUBCONCIENCE never shuts down. Your brain has been presented with a puzzle. Some are obvious solves. Some puzzles take a few seconds, some are those that are "right on the tip of my tongue". Fabrication is the same. Let the puzzle "just sit there" (in your mind) Don't think about it too hard. look at another item all together. Your lil brain wheel is spinning, spinning, spinning.
My windshield brackets where very simple, one piece at a time. Curved base of windshiel=need to bend metal bar to same shape. Done. hold that up to the bike, I see the posts for the moose racing habdguards (also a retread from the Kawasaki). so I bent the bar so it could meet the hand guard posts. Cut it to length, drill a couple holes and that's it !
