Me and my friend took our Honda Monkey bikes from UK to Morocco. First part is UK to Morocco... Part 2 to follow... In first part we covered 3000km after 7 days on the road, 2 ferry crossings, 1 police stop and 1 chain adjustment.
Wow, absolutely stunning video. I love the way you've put it all together. The music and scenes are just fantastic 😊 Awsome 😎 lookog forward to your adventures 🤩
I got a Honda Innova 125 and am going to do some travelling on that. I've had big bikes but I have more giggles on these little things! Hats off to you!! Sheffield.
Outstanding. I'm amazed you did not see my mate Alan (Helmet Head) who recently did pretty much the same run through Morocco but in the opposite direction, on his Monkey bike. Monkey are just SO cool!
@@Jev8oy Just looked at your route (so far). What a Journey! I don't think Alan went quite as far into Morocco as you, he just did a ten day loop from the ferry back to the ferry, but he was certainly in some of the same places as you guys. Morocco is now on my bucket list... not on a Monkey, on my 650 VStrom.
@@neilmackinnon3371 Neil, VStrom is a good choice! Morocco has a lot on offer for an adventure riders. Big change in culture, scenery, food.. you really going to enjoy 😉
Hello Jevboy. Sorry for not being in touch but school has been a little bit all over the place and its not really settled down yet. Are you still up for popping over and giving the pupils (5 of them) a chat about your adventure? Stuart
Hi, My Honda Monkey set up: Tail tidy, mirror extenders, Oxford usb-c charger, Beeline sat nav, Takegawa large rear rack, Enduristan Tornado bag (M) and Enduristan bottle holster. I have Monkey set up video on my channel.
@@Raul-pp1uh Witam, tak, mały zbiornik paliwa, ale w Maroku jest dużo stacji paliw. Możesz także kupić paliwo od lokalnych mieszkańców, na wypadek gdyby zabrakło Ci paliwa.
Hi, I didn’t find it hard long distance riding on Monkey. Yes it’s slow and small fuel tank, but it didn’t bother us. Siting position is ok for me. Don’t take my word for granted, I only pass my motorcycle licence in February so have little to zero experence. I would recomend test riding Monkey and see if it works for you. All I can say that Monkey brings a lot of smiles to almost anyone who sees it. It’s a perfect conversation starter. Everytime we stop someone would ask a question or give us a 👍
I like your channel and enjoy watching it, but for me hard to figure it out where that place and how far. My suggestion how if you show the journey with the maps too and could be more interesting to watch. Thank you. Greeting from Indonesia
Hi, no rack on the bike as standard, but you have a lot of aftermarket choice in any shape or colour. Space is limited, but it’s depends what you planning to carry. For me did work 1 bag (7kg) for 2.5 weeks, but for others that may not be enough.
What did you use for navugation? Is that circular computer on your bars anything to do with it? I'd like to do something similar so would help massively!
Hi, in genral we were able to keep up. Of course on motorway cars would overtake us, but on normal roads we are fine. I would say on faster roads you just need to be more vigilant.
@@ocbtyga3238 we had 2 spare T shirts, socks and pants Washed them every second night. No tent or food as we used airbnb/booking. We decided it better way for Morocco as it’s was not so expensive to sleep in hotels/airbnb instead of camping.
Hello Jev. I live in Long Sutton but work in Friday Bridge. I teach at a small school attached to a foster home for boys aged from 11 to 18 who have had a pretty poor start to life and find mainstream education difficult. We currently have 6 boys in total. Is it possible that you and your riding partner night be willing to come and have a chat with the boys and let them see how you planned and actually completed the journey. You don't have to make a massive presentation just actually answer questions and go through your own videos. I find that they just need some inspiration and they love this kind of stuff. Last guy to visit was Ed March. Hoping you can help. Stuart Lloyd - Himalayan and SV 650 owner.
Hi, we drove from Spalding, UK, to Plymouth on day 1. Then we boarded a ferry to Spain (Santander). It took 20 hours for the ferry to travel from the UK to Spain. On day 2, we were in Spain. We travel light, so we only had one bag each 🧳
@@stuleyland9490 ...well, what an intellectual comment - just about sums it all up really - unintelligent and insulting. By the way, from your scripted intro, it's not..." Me and my friend" it is, correctly, " My friend and I ". Lastly, not too sure about "..yer..", I presume it's some derivation of the English language.
