This is the proper way to showcase an exhaust. The V&H sounds excellent and the points you make about cleanest look and heat shield make this my top choice.

Does it have a suppressor on it? Had you considered the Two Brothers exhaust or other options?

Stock baffle. My wife had the 2 Bros on her 500 before she got this 1100. I hate the way the exposed clamp looks on the 2 Bros with no heat shield and the fit and finish of the V&H is definitely superior. The V&H was developed alongside with the Honda and was even at the press launch of the bike vs the generic 2 Bros as well.

@@raceboy1971 A lot of 1100 riders have complained that their side covers fell off. Mine are still on - knock wood.

@@longbeachgary There's a fastener accessible from under the passenger seat that holds the top of the cover. It broke. Now it's zip tied and not going anywhere.

How’s the noise level for you without ear plugs? I got the Two Brothers one with the optional baffle but it still hurts my ears without ear plugs. Heard the V&H is a little bit quieter while still being louder than stock.
