You are the only one who described about the left circle next to the odometer .No body in the reviews did that. All these days I was scratching my head thinking what it is and was expecting some cool feature. Thanks!!!!
The Hybrid option saves you enough in gas costs to pay for the upgrade cost from a lower level Elantra. So you get all the tech and features of the high level trim without it costing you anything; and then you get the higher level trade in value, when the time comes. In addition, the electric motor really launches the Elantra, and gives you 0 - 60 times in the mid eights. It's a spectacular car; I really love mine!
I don't really see the hype with wireless phone projection. I trust a wired connection more for stability and it really isn't a hassle to plug in every time. I can kinda understand people being upset if it doesn't have wireless charging so you can drop your phone there and kinda forget about it.
I actually prefer wired android auto.. I don't always want to use it. I really only want to use it for long car trips so I like to only connect it when I want it instead of auto connect
I'd like to see people cover ALL of the buttons, and a quick rundown of the various menus on the screens. i.e. the "Battery Reset", and the turn signal 3-5-7 sec. options Otherwise, a very good video, especially the "hands free" driving section.
Awesome review. I have this car and I love it. When it’s sitting you can’t even hear it. It makes a weird Jetsons noise when the engine is not engaged and it’s just the electric motor. Is there a way to adjust the loud beeping sound when you back it up? I can’t figure out how to decrease the volume or turn it off
FYI - I believe that pointless circle is there because the N version uses that space as another gauge. The Limited version has no use for that space, so they just put in a small LED circle to fill it.
I just wish they would do the N Line and N (when it comes) engine and suspension with the Limited features and interior. It could only be a couple grand more but I would 100% buy one. I am really tempted to get the hybrid and just roll with that for a while and trade it if they ever do a N Line Limited. One can only hope.
I want this car but the fact that I have to plug my phone in for music doesn’t sit right with me... does the calls still come through the car with the 10inch screen?
@@BachmanAutoGroupLouisville He's right though, there are many N lines with the drive mode selector button in that circle thing. Here's proof.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3cXCA3iBm2E.html
Differences: Regular limited: Has more torque, uses MPI (fuel system), has intelligent variable transmission...not too good on hybrids, more headroom by 2.1 inches, Hybrid limited: Uses GDI (fuel system), has more ground clearance by .2, has FCA with cyclist and junction turning while reg limited has regular FCA, has Smart cruise control stop & go, has high way driving assist, has electronic Brake, has full LED taillights rather than just the bulb, has blue link package
I was excited about the wireless Android Auto connection and wireless charging pad (on the limited) but knowing I'd have to keep my phone plugged in is disappointing.
@@zanemiracle6121 Just so you know, the hybrid has more torque than the non-hybrid. Elantra limited: 147hp 132lb-ft Elantra hybrid limited: 139hp 195lb-ft The spec sheet on the website seems to skip over the total system torque on the hybrid, but they do mention it elsewhere, including the Hyundai Showroom Walkaround video on the Elantra page.
Haha - I just test drove one and saw that circle and was like, shut up! I also thought it was the mag safe for my cell. I was disappointed when it did not stick.
@@BachmanAutoGroupLouisville is it supposed to make a high pitched whining or whistling noise? Mine makes that noise and I do not know if that is normal because I’ve never owned a hybrid car before or if something is wrong with the car
I have very limited experience with Mazda. I know they are nice for sure. The technology inside of Hyundai’s are definitely up there. It really depends on what’s important to you
Yeah it’s definitely strange. It may have something to do with the amount of pixels they have to push wirelessly to the larger screen sizes… that’s my only theory 🤷🏻♂️
