My kids favorite feature you forgot to show is that the BACK SEATS RECLINE!! I mean, they don't go all the way down as the back wheel well is there, but is reclines enough to put you in a nice, relaxing nap position. That was a feature we missed about having our van but now, we still have it.

I test drove one of these just the other day at my local dealer. It was the first time I drove a Hyundai ever in the years I've been driving. It did surprise me. I liked the comfortable seats, the layout of the dash and how much leg room it had. It drove well and I liked how it handled. I'm currently in between cars after wrecking my Chevy Equinox and I think this might be my next car. I'm thinking I'll take it for another test ride when I head back to the dealer next week. I want to be sure it's a solid car before buying it. What I don't want is to be stuck with a car with a weak engine like the Equinox had.

Such a great and detailed explanation of each model. My sales person was not even close to being this knowledgeable about what features were available based on model. I almost bought a plane ticket to come down and buy from you! This video helped me make my final decision on what to buy. I went with the SEL with the comfort package. Can't wait for it to arrive!

Nice reviews Man, love the videos. A couple of questions 1. Can Apple Car Play and Android Auto be played in the entire screen of the 10 inch screen with the convenience package? 2. Does the FWD option on the SEL trim come with the different drive modes? (Sport/Comfort/Smart etc.)? and does FWD engine have the auto shutdown option?

You briefly mention the driver seat settings can be saved by multiple drivers. I've searched through the manual and online and cannot figure out how to utilize this feature, please direct me to the instructions. I bought the 2021Santa Fe SEL w/Premium package last week, Hampton Gray, I love it! Thank you for this video, it has been very helpful learning about many of the cool features I had no idea this car has!

Comparing the '21 vs. '20 Santa Fe SEL, is another benefit improved insulation and an acoustic laminated glass windshield and double paneled glass side windows resulting in a quieter cabin and ride? Do you need the Convenience Package to get these benefits or are they both just improvements in model year? Thank you.

I just leased a 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited, and have had the vehicle in the shop twice over the first month of ownership. The vehicle has a knocking, screeching sound coming from the undercarriage when traveling at slow speed or going over speed bumps. I was told that this maybe within specifications, but I doubt it. I have owned a lit of SUVs and this is by far the very worst suspension that I have seen in a new vehicle.

Wife and I own 2...a 2019 and 2020 both are base SEL models with the 2.4 engines. We luv them and think the engine is a perfect match for the 8 spd trans.

I wish my sales person was half as knowledgeable as you are. I wanted the convenience package and thought that is what i was getting but I got the standard sel. Hyundai shouldn't show comfort and convenience on their window stickers because it was mis leading to me. But either way, there are no cars available with the convenience package near me anyhow. I still love my new car.

I just bought a Hyndai Santa Fe sel and I love it I upgraded from a sport what a difference

I don't care for the DCT transmission. The turbo lag is another issue for me. I currently own a 2015 Lincoln MKC 2.0 AWD mated too a 6 speed auto and i don't have these issues. No turbo lag nothing but seamless performance. That all said, i like this SUV a lot and it's got a VERY competent AWD system with the Htrac. However, i am thinking back too when Kia put a DCT auto in there Sportage and it was nothing but trouble. And i see that happening with this Santa Fe model down the line. So i'd MUCH rather go with the 2.5 standard 8 speed auto with 190hp. Getting the SEL with Premium and Convenience packages will get you 90% of what the Limited and Calligraphy trims have. And in terms of HP the 190 isn't that bad at all and you won't have too deal with both the mechanical issues of the DCT and turbo lag. Otherwise, a VERY VERY nice SUV that easily gives Subaru Outback a run for it's money in terms of "off road" capability.

Great video thank you. Wanted your opinion on the power - the main difference in the loaded SEL vs Limited is the engine (turbo vs not). Does the SEL provide enough power for daily driving with a family, in your opinion? Want to make sure we aren't struggling to get up to speed, but thinking the $5,000 price difference in the two (Premium SEL vs limited) is steep. Unless the SEL just doesn't have juice it seems the smarter buy. Thoughts?

Does the Santa Fe SEL not have navigation? I see only audio display with android auto/apple carplay listed as a feature for the SEL and navigation system with android auto/apple carplay for the Limited and calligraphy. If it does not come with it, can you add it without having to get the limited or calligraphy? I really wish the SEL includes navigation :(

Hi Miguel, Thanks for posting and I do know this is a 2021 looking into the 2023 Santa fe Sel but in my area up northern N.J. front wheel drive are hard to come by. Guessing down in Florida they have them since no snow?

Dang Hyundai has taken the lead. Sooooo I was so sure I wanted the Mazda cx5 🤔. But for the price and all the features this is hands down the best option. You had me at wireless charging. Not to mention the warranty these vehicles have. The only thing that I personally don't like is the silver trim on things that you are going to touch a lot. My mom Corolla has silver trim and it has turned yellow from the dirt and oils on your hands. And more importantly how is the cabin noise on this vehicle? That is the main reason I'm leaning towards Mazda because they have a very quiet cabin ride. Thanks for the info. I'm so torn.

Hello Miguel, very informative and detailed video...!!! I have 2021 Santa Fe SEL , which has Forward Collision Avoidance Assist. I have tried the warning to set off but it never comes up, I tried driving too close to the car in front, tried going too close to the car at the red stop, even setup a pile of boxes and tried to hit them but the warning never came off. I do not have any malfunction lights on the dashboard. Do you think this is how FCA works on Santa Fe SEL?

I Got one 2021 SEl+ convinence pkg. Is Steering getting tighter once you speed up? or its problem I have? I have been driven Camry 2009 with Hydraulic steering and it was smoother at all times. with this new santafe its very nice when you leaving parking lot, but its getting tighter along with speed is going up. Shown it to salesman, he tried it and said it meant to be like that. Any Ideas? Its my second car in my life so im not sure. I thought anything with new car will be better than my old car. But this is really annoying
