I think im one of the rare people that thinks the Sonata looks better than the K5. I just think the K5 design just has way too much going on and the front end is too busy while the Sonata just looks more simple and sleek.
They should had added another exhaust pip and at least 19 inch rims It’s still a soft ride with them and it makes the car look more luxurious with those details
I wouldn’t trade mine for anything.. has all the bells and whistles that even a top of the line sports cars don’t have. And the price… shhhsh it’s a no brainer. Plus its gorgeous and it rides smoother than my Jag
Do you ever get a jerky acceleration feeling when accelerating at low speeds? I just bought one and I feel like it lags and jerks a bit when accelerating from a complete stop.
12:27 I totally agree about wishing the heads up display was a standard feature everywhere. I was hoping for it in the N Line, but no such luck. Too bad, since it's precisely the faster cars that would benefit most from it, as a safety feature.
I have this car and didn’t know about the button for steering or what the paddles were for!!! It is a great car to drive. My exterior is all black and the cabin is quiet.

18:24 The time stamp links to the part of the video where the high-end, remote parking feature is being demonstrated. I have a question here: Why would it go through the fence if it will stop when you get behind it? All in all, a nice thorough review. I especially like seeing other interior colors besides black.
I don't know if any one else experiences this, but I just bought the 21' Sonata 1.6T and I feel like theres a bit of lag and jerkyness feeling when accelerating from a zero stop. It feels a bit jerky when accelerating at low speeds as if the transmission isn't changing gears smoothly enough when coming off from the first or second gear. It sort of jumps or jerks when I'm going from soft pressure to harder pressure on the pedal, even if im applying the pressure gradually.. Idk if I'm making sense, but has anyone else experienced this? I can't seem to tell if this is just apart of the new 1.6t engine, if this is normal for the 2021 sonatas, or if this is just turbo lag.. but I used to have a 2013 hyundai sonata 2.0 turbo, and I never had this issue. Anyone have suggestions?
We have a 2016 Limited and test drove the 2021 limited 1.6L today. I love all the technology and safety features of the Limited trim. One strange negative was the car did feel loose/jerky when accelerating quickly from a stop to enter the highway. And changing lanes was met with resistance. Having watched this video I'm wondering if the lane assistance was enabled and the reason for resistance or not? It almost felt unsafe and much lighter than my 2016... or perhaps this is an intentional sporty experience of driving a turbo. Not a big deal as we are leaning towards the Hybrid to save on gas but anxious to see if changing lanes feels the same and switching on/off lane change assistance. Learned a couple things from the video. As for the audio just show the Bose logo speaker and the audience will know it has premium sound.😊
Ha! I noticed those aftermarket Hyundai valve caps! I just got some for mine and my wife though it was douchey. 😂 I love mine, and I'll baby it all I want hehe. Great car!
Im a freshman in college deciding between the 2021 accord or 2021 sonata? Please help me decide 😭my job & school is within 5-10miles of my house and i go to school & i drive to both places almost everyday
If you’re looking at a lower trim, I’d suggest the sonata since you get an 8-speed vs a cvt. However, the top trims on the accord have far more power than the sonata limited, therefore I’d go with the n-line for a younger kid since they’re a little cheaper and have far better performance. Up to you man but if you’re looking at the lower trims, I’d definitely go with the sonata se. top trims, up to you because the accord 2.0t has that fantastic 10 speed.
Base stinger is much more simple inside only thing it really has is heated seats but has a 2.5t 300 hp engine. If you don’t really care about performance that much this is a much better buy.
The front end is ugly and looks way better on the SE trim. Otherwise it's a good overall car but the turbo 1.6 needs more than 180 HP at this price point! The remote parking feature would be useless for me as I would never in a million years park my new 35K ride between two cars so tightly close together for fear of door dings or scratches from careless jerks. I remember this feature failing to work on another Hyundai product a few years back so the reviewer gave up trying to show it!
