I'm older than you. Recently switched out the Ducati for a 2020 Indian Scout (Anniversary model). You can't corner like a sport bike, but it has plenty of "Sorry officer." if you're not careful.
Am looking at both the Scout Bobber 60 and the Scout Bobber Rogue 60. Could you tell me what the RPM's are at 60 MPH. Am wondering if it's worth the extra expense to get a Scout Bobber with the larger 69 cubic inch engine?
In the U.K. these bikes are around 17,000 Dollars , around 60% more which is “ more tax “ to pay as per usual , especially considering how cheap they are in the US of A. I really do like these bikes it looks fantastic and with an exhaust modification it sounds brilliant , I think I will end up with one next year. 👍😎🇬🇧

@@indianmotorcycleofdesmoine326 yeah but it depends on where you live due to taxes and shipping costs. Over here (Netherlands), you are looking at, at least, 17,500 Euro's (comes down to 20,600 USD). So allmost double the price.

Sorry for the delay. Riders 6ft and over would probably want taller bars and the extended reach foot controls. They move the controls 2 inches farther forward. Hope this helps.
I don’t understand why Indian won’t do minor upgrades that have been the majority of the complaints since the scout first came out like a better headlight and a better seat for starters
@@IanNicholasMusic Are you buying the base model, or are you adding upgrades right then and there? Because you can upgrade your bike right then and there? But you know that already.
I believe the 20 was in reference to the year that model came out 2020. The sixty is in reference to the engine displacement of 60 cubic inch. The standard more expensive model has a 69 cubic inch motor and hence more power (100 vs 78 at the crank).
The stock rear tire size is a 150, and I don't think there is enough room to do the 180 or 200mm tire on it without replacing the swingarm and fender. I've seen some aftermarket swingarms for sale.
Sorry for the delay. Here is the info. Scout Bobber 60 has a 1000cc engine and a 5 speed transmission. Also comes with an all black seat instead of the black and tan. Rides on Kenda tires. 78 Hp 65 ft-lbs torque Scout bobber has 1133 cc engine with 6 speed transmission. Seat is black and tan. Rides on Pirelli tires. 100 Hp 72ft-lbs torque Scout bobber 20 is a regular scout bobber that comes with 10 ape handlebars, Lace or spoke wheels, different tank logo and chrome/black exhaust

Sorry for the delay. When you purchase an Icon you are just purchasing the paint. The rest of the bike is the same. The Icon models are only made to order so they are limited in number. Hope this helps.

Have you seen the preview videos on the new bobber style Honda Rebel 1100 ? Lot of bang for the buck, bigger power weight ration and way more features?
@@wiskkid The Rebel looks ugly in my opinion. Something about the gas tank is just awkward. But for performance it's probably a better choice. The bobber is something that has good looks, quality, and pretty good performance. But the Rebel 1100 is probably a little faster. It's really up to personal preference.
@@paint4850 goes without saying, every purchase in life is personal preference. Describing the 1100 look as awkward is speak for not looking like a HD clone. Tank follows similar lines as the bike's frame because it sits on the frame. The Rebel 1100 really does blow the Indian away in every way.
