How to add LED lights to the Indian headdress or thunder bonnet on the front fender of an Indian Roadmaster with a stock, unlit headdress.
I added the LED kit from custom dynamics and wired it to my low beam headlight circuit. Forgive me for long winded explanations. I was making most of it up as I was going. I decided to do this installation on a rainy day during a Christmas staycation after being down with the flu for the previous 10 days.
Other than the light kit from custom dynamics, I used a connector kit from harbor freight, some solder/ soldering iron, loctite, clear silicone RTV, hot glue, and some common tools.

There should be a 2 wire plug taped to the wiring harness on the right fork, that is supposed to be the power supply for the bonnet. That would have saved you alot of work with the headlight wiring. Good job though with gluing the wire under the fender. I have the same bike and love the look.

@mikestanley335 I only know about it because I got a couple buddies with the same bike and they inquired about it. All the chieftains come with the same wiring harnesses and so the lower equipped bikes have a bunch of extra plugs taped up everywhere. It makes it easier for the owner if he decides to do the upgrades himself
